Dollar General offers friendly service and a great shopping experience. It provides a variety of household and personal items, along with a wide selection of food including cold, frozen, canned, boxed, and bagged items at a fraction of the cost. While stock can sometimes be low, as is common these days, the staff is nice and employees work hard to refill the shelves. Customers can also find propane. It is a recommended go-to place to skip the chaos of larger stores.
On vacation went to get marshmallows for the camp fire at this store. Got there at 1040 pm and they were closed! I called and this girl stated they were closed that she locked doors at 10 til. I said well its 15 til right now. She said well I've worked 50 hours and I want to go home and hung up!!!!

Really enjoyed this place. Not the most well stocked, but employees were working hard to refill the shelves. Was able to get propane here too! Prices were 100x better than the IGA.

The one in Walland, TN is 100% better than the one in Townsend, TN.
