The day we visited was very busy and had a line out the door, but we only waited in line for tickets about 10 minutes maybe. The tour lasted a little over an hour. The guides were very knowledgeable and did a great job managing group passings down below. My favorite part was the beach, but the big room was pretty cool too. There's a waterfall, and some very unique formations to see as well. In the lobby are fossils and animal bones on display that have been found in these ancient caverns. Theres also a gift shop with drinks and fudge for sale. Highly recommend putting this on your list of things to do while visiting the Smokey Mountains. There's also a horse riding place on your drive in and out to the caverns owned by the same family. Same level of expertise and professionalism there and another fun activity to do.

As someone that's been to Mammoth Caves, this is a small cave, but 100% worth seeing while in the area. The sounds of the stream running through it is beautiful, with an underground waterfall as well! I had seen another review saying the water in the stream was drinkable, I asked my tour guide and he confirmed. The water simply tastes like... water lol. Would be an excellent retreat from the heat in the summertime as it's nice and cool in the cave.

Worth it to visit but lines were insane. might be a one off but we waited 4hrs before getting in. The opposite parking lot was open but to muddy for anyone to parked without 4x4.

Me & 3 teenagers really enjoyed the roughly 90 minute tour. Well worth the money. Got to drink directly out of the underground stream that runs through the cave & is 98% pure.

Really cool caverns. Guided tour was an hour and a half and included large cavern rooms, underground spring, waterfall, and all sorts of rock formations. A must stop in my book. Great option for a rainy day during a Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg stay especially.

This was probably about our 4th or 5th time in the caves over the years. What we experienced today was a great example of profit over quality. There were SO many tour groups, each with a minimum of 30 humans. We were stuck waiting for immense amounts of time for other groups to pass and didn’t get to really experience the beauty of the caves. In the big room, we were with more than just our group and we were pretty smooshed together. It was honestly anxiety provoking. Deeply disappointed and would highly recommend that tours are staggered and group size is limited. Multiple people within the group noted disappointment and that they did not plan to return. I was told the uptick in activity was due to rain, but it was not raining outside today. One positive, our tour guide was very kind and professional. Other than that, a terrible experience and we will never return.

Disappointed. We came here about 10 years ago when our kids were little and the tour was great. We had plenty of time to look around, take pics and just enjoy the cave. Fast forward to last month...the tour was too rushed. It seems like they have bigger groups now. We passed several other groups that were leaving, just showing up or right behind us. It is way to crowded and rushed now. You really don't get much time to enjoy it. My biggest complaint is the ..what seems to be not good training on the tour guide's part or lack of concern. There were a few elderly in our group, on the way out one lady had to stop to catch her breath, the whole group was out of the cave and done and she and her (son or grandson) we left behind. I feel like the tour guide should of made sure everyone was out and should of made sure she was ok along with the gentleman who was gasping to breathe afterwards. Why didn't they check on them? Seems like a major lack in training in this area. We will not be back.

Wonderful attraction. This was well worth stopping at. I would highly recommend this cave tour for all ages. There are some inclines and steps within the tour that can be challenging.

Disappointed. I knew it was going to be busy, and was well prepared to have to wait. However, once we got in there, I feel like it was a disaster and super dangerous to have that many people trying to walk through there at the same time. The groups were so big that you couldn’t hear anything your guide was even saying. Surprised they didn’t have you sign waiver considering how potentially dangerous it was. It was pretty wet inside (which was fine, it’s a cave) but I definitely almost bit it more that one time trying to keep my 6 year old safe. Once we were in there was a lot of standing around packed in like sardines waiting for another group to move out of the way. They could definitely make this a more enjoyable experience but instead are just trying to push as many people through as possible. I would pass on this.

This was our first time in a cave, it was definitely very interesting and amazing to see. I love the history of it and that it is still family owned. There is a lot of steps and walking to see it all, but they allow you to take your time. The hardest part was climbing the 87 steps out of the cave, but there again, don’t let that stop you because you can take your time. This is a guided tour and the guide that told us the history of the caverns was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. It was a great experience.
