J & W Army Surplus is an awesome place and a favorite store for many. It is an old-school army surplus supply with an incredible and insanely large inventory of military surplus. The store has pretty much everything for a bug out bag, camping, military clothes, and gear. There is a huge selection of used clothes, camouflage, dress clothes, and military gear, including multi-tools and combat knives. It is similar to a warehouse rather than a store and is fairly well organized, though finding specific sizes requires some digging—a process described as a fun treasure hunt. The atmosphere is always calm, quiet, and perfect for browsing. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Prices are great and on par with most online stores, though some prices are high and not all items are clearly marked. Customers are advised not to expect a normal shopping experience or brand new gear, as the store specializes in old but gold items. It is a highly recommended spot for veterans needing uniform items and for anyone seeking a unique surplus experience with a lot of good memories.
