No way to talk to anyone about problems with boat

Purchased a Used 2021 Mastercraft X26 boat (110hrs total). $200k plus. The boat sat for over a year. The dual screen in settings had a an update. I decided to update it thinking the boat sitting for such a long period of time would need the software updated. Bad decision! In fact the update down graded my boat. Lost all the new features and now have outdated software 2020. Why would MC offer software updates that clearly does not update but rather outdate your equipment?! Now I am being told, I have to drag it to the dealer for them to reprogram it and bring the software back up to date -and correct, for a charge. Can you believe this. A company that sales the most expensive wake boats cannot learn to use over the air software updates that update your boat and not down grade your boat and then have to pay to put back what should have never been able to remove. What’s the point of having firmware update option using Spark that hurts your equipment? These reviews will help. Bad reviews negatively impacts their company and revenues decline investors start pulling out and eventually chapter 7 is available.

Go to HR with a simple question it’s fixed come to them with a problem and your demonized. people here want to speak up but can’t due to Fear of being fired. And the work load is unfair if your a good employee they swamp you with work. Good employees and leaders for the most part but a failing work ethic

Purchased a 2022 XT21 in June. It is my 6th new Mastercraft over the last 35 years. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the workmanship on this boat versus my 2015. Most of the little issues I fixed or tweaked myself. Being an owner of so many new boats, I would like to visit the plant and sit with someone in customer service to go over what I see as defects in your process. I was a manufacture for 37 years in my career and actually my company supplies your company with some products. None of the issues were dealer related. Not sure how you would reach out to me, but I can give you my vin if needed.

I want to inform any potential customers looking to purchase a new MasterCraft of the experience I have had so they can make an informed decision. I have own boats for over 28 years and have had MasterCraft boats in the past, but it appears they are not the same quality or service that was once offered. I purchased a New MasterCraft X Series and from the beginning have had multiple issues. They range from decals falling off the boat on the very first trip out to electrical issues that left the boat dead in the water. The lastest issues resulted from the Authorized MasterCraft Dealer (Charlotte Ski Boats) where the boat was purchased performing warranty work by inadequately trained personal. It appears that they installed the wrong software and now nothing on the boat works correctly. I now own a MasterCraft X Series with just over 100 hours that has been in the shop multiple times and now doesn't even operate as it was designed. I have attempted to contact MasterCraft Directly (but they only offer the email form-no actual phone number) by the only means on the website to no avail. I have sent (4) emails which state someone will contact you in 24 hours, but it has been (3) days and still no response. It is frustrating that a product of this caliber/cost doesn't perform any better than this and doesn't offer better customer service/support. Now the Authorized MasterCraft Dealer (Charlotte Ski Boats) is no longer an Authorized MasterCraft Dealer and has not offered any assistance. I now own a boat that doesn't work and have no recourse or assistant from the manufacturer. It appears the customer has no real support from the manufacturer and at this point I own a MasterCraft X Series that is sitting on a trailer until I can find out how to resolve the issues. Called to get details on my new boat being built, took Lucas in Customer Service less than 10 minutes to give me an update. He deserves a raise, nothing in the history of boats has happened that fast.

Hate to leave this 1 star review, I never leave bad reviews and have always loved this manufacturer but...I am on my third Mastercraft...just took delivery of a 2022 X24, MSRP 287k. I don't know if COVID has affected build quality but this is by far the worst build I have ever received!Multiple gel coat issues (not polished, scratches, etc.), sagging upholstery with small rip in drivers seat, 2 ballast pumps quit working after 10 hours, subwoofer and starboard tower speaker quit working. issues with surf tabs calibrating, etc.Dealer has been "overwhelmed" with repairs and says that Mastercraft is not the product it used to be. I have been told that Mastercraft has sent emails to their dealers apologizing for the poor quality coming out and letting them know that they plan to "do better."The reality is that I have a boat that has so many manufacturing problems that the dealer can't fix them in a timely enough fashion, leaving me highly disappointed with a boat that I paid over 200k for and which I have every right to enjoy.

MasterCraft builds a great product. I've owned several boats over the course of the last 30 years and the reliability and ROI has been awesome. If you take care of a MasterCraft, it will take care of you and give you hundreds of hours of great experiences on the water!

Absolutely trash customer service for buying a $189k flagship wakeboard boat. Their corporate customer service is absolute trash. You are just a number.
