Yesterday
Went into pick up a package of decongestants from the counter at the pharmacy. I was greeted by a nice young lady at the register, she asked me what she could help me with and told her I would like the package behind her on the shelf listed for 10.99, she grabbed a box and scanned it and after a couple mins later, I realized that the box rang up for 14.99. I said, “could I have the other box that’s labeled 10.99”. Just as she was about to help me another gal from the other end of the pharmacy says what do you want? (Very rudely I will add) I said, in a polite tone a decongestant and the box that’s labeled 10.99. She pointed to the shelf and said the labels are incorrect then I said, “that’s fine I would like the smaller count box” which then rang up for 9.99 and she proceeded to give me a dirty look. I then turned and apologized to the clerk for having to scan the new item and delete the other one. She never said anything…
I am only telling you all this because…customer service should be first and foremost that’s what brings in future business. I worked in retail 20+ years ago so I know what that looks like. I know there were days so felt like crap or had a bad day but I left that at the door and never once took that out on my customers.
If you were the girl with long dark hair and was ornery. Maybe you ought to think before you speak. Just an observation. Secondly, it’s bad enough I have to show a drivers license to get a product to treat my allergies and terrible congestion in my head. But then I had to come across you, who wants to take their bad day out on me.
Walgreens really needs to rethink who they have handling their customer service.

Wish I could give them zero stars. Rude and unprofessional pharmacy staff.

Cindy goes above and beyond for customers and I hope it’s noticed and appreciated. I came in, just minutes before close, for propane. Everywhere else in town is out and I had just got back from out of town. She could have refused to help me since it was so late, but instead she came out in 11 degree weather to switch my tank. I have a baby at home and rely on propane for heat, so this was a huge deal. Thanks again, Cindy.

Edit:Card readers are running again. In future it would be nice if they post notice on door instead of letting me run 2 cards and clerk giving me blank stare when they won't run. The readers are down often enough to form a backup plan and know how to deal with it so customers can continue buying medications.3/27Their credit card readers won't run but their ATM does? Nice way to rack up fees. I spend enough money here that I shouldn't be expected to pay cash just to get my prescriptions.

We had to switch to another pharmacy anyway because this one is always out of meds. And after recent events they definitely earned all the one star reviews they get

This pharmacy thinks that their religious or social beliefs can bleed over into people's medical care. The refusal of a medication to an already grieving mother is cruel, unusual, and the woman who did this should lose her job. Your personal opinions should have no weight in the medical field, but I guess that's why she works in this town full of ignorance and bigotry.

I just wanted to thank the pharmacist that helped my husband last week. From the moment I approached the counter, I was greeted with warmth and a genuine willingness to assist. After explaining my situation, the pharmacist took it upon herself to find a solution that would alleviate the financial burden of my husband’s medication. She tirelessly searched for available options and, to my astonishment, discovered a free coupon online specifically for the medication he needed. Her dedication and resourcefulness in securing the coupon left me in awe. Not only did she save me from incurring any expenses, but she also ensured that my husband could continue receiving the vital medication he required without interruption. The compassion and empathy she demonstrated throughout the entire process were truly commendable. THANK YOU AGAIN!!

Trust me. Make the drive to Oak Ridge. The pharmacist was trying to be helpful, but the pharmacy tech should not be dealing with the public, or at least not talk about customers until they’re out of earshot. 8 generations of Jones’ in this town, and I’ve never been treated so callously. Looks like Floridians really have moved in.

I went to get a prescription and had a med rx coupon and rep said it was still higher than coupon states. Then manager came over and said the prices change they can’t honor it. Let me leave and I go back stating there is a number and she says oh well u could have states u wanted it packaged differently. Wait I’m supposed to know that you can suggest it u see I have don’t have insurance and then make me wait another hour. I ask to speak to higher than her and she refused and said she is the boss. Been going to Walgreens doe over 30 years and her hospitality don’t belong in tennessee. My bf got amazing service at the clinic. You would think Walgreens want amazing help. Horror customer service and bad example and as I walked away you could her her talking about me to workers.

I usually request my medications to be filled at Walgreens because they are nationwide and reputable although they occasionally run out of the meds my family members have needed at times. The store part tends to be a little pricey however, and I avoid shopping there for most of my needs when I can get comparable items at Walmart or online for less.

This walgreens has the worst customer service I've seen behind the pharmacy. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Five people back there and no communication. The girl even denied that she spoke to me. Go to Walmart instead they are cheaper and have staff that actually pay attention.
