Older paved airport with fair pavement condition. No FBO or fuel service. Tie-downs are dog stakes that are merely twisted into the dirt. There is no security (fence, cameras, etc) and a number of derelict aircraft sitting on the field in various states of dismantled condition. A couple of the planes weren't even tied-down which makes them a hazard to your plane if a good wind kicks up. I was looking for an overnight for an ETSU event, but won't leave my plane there because of the lack of security. It could be a wonderful airport if minimal effort was made to improve the runway, install real tie-downs, provide 100LL and secure the area from the curious/vandalizing public.
