*DO NOT USE Chris Pitts Self Storage HE WILL WITHHOLD YOUR LOVED ONES STUFF*Jeff Baker passed Sunday May 28th. We started funeral planning, talking with his work, and emptying his house. We knew he had a storage unit so we called Tuesday May 30th after the holiday and spoke with Chris Pitts the owner to ask if we could get the gate code and what he needed from us to gain access whether it be the death certificate or whatever documentation. He told us we would need to find Jeff’s code and key as he would not cut locks in these situations. We told him we understood and thanked him though he was rude and kept repeating “he JUST died”. As if how long it had been since he passed determined when we could appropriately handle his affairs. We decided we would wait to deal with the storage unit until we found the code as told. We laid Jeff to rest Saturday June 3rd. We went to the storage unit on Sunday June 4th with the magnet with the gate code and key but the code had been deactivated so we called Chris again. He told us Jeff was delinquent on rent (which was NEVER mentioned in May 30th) and his code had been deactivated and Jeff hadn’t “been dead long enough” for him to let us in and to get “state administration” to send something. When I told him I was confused and asked what he needed from state administration he hung up on me. I’m not sure if he purposely withheld that rent was due on the first of the month so he could deactivate the gate code and is now purposely not telling me what he needs so he can lock the unit and keep what’s inside or what but it isn’t right!! We’ve offered the death certificate and beneficiary paperwork and he wouldn’t answer us about it. Jeff was a victim of the arson fires so what is in that unit is some of his last belongings that we would like to be able to have.

As a Long Term client of Chris Pitts Self-Storage in Waverly, Tennessee, I received OUTSTANDING Service for several years!!Mr. Pitts has ALWAYS been Polite, Friendly, Professional, Respectful, Courteous, AND .... Very Helpful in EVERY contact and phone call with me over the years! His facility in Waverly has been well kept, well maintained, fenced with a gated entry system, AND ..... I have NOT had any issues or problems with water leaks, rodents, or debris in my unit or in the facility area! I give Mr. Pitts and His Chris Pitts Self Storage Facility in Waverly, Tennessee My HIGHEST Reccomendation! Thank YOU Chris Pitts!!!!

Chris is a very nice gentleman who does business the right way. This is my 2nd time I have used his storage facility in Camden. I have not had any issues with this storage unit, the previous one, or Mr. Pitts. He goes over and beyond trying to make sure you have everything you need. Also, I chose Chris Pitts' storage because of the locked gate due to the theft in storage units over the years in Benton County. If I am in need of another storage unit in the future, I will definitely use Chris Pitts Storage.

Hung up on me because i asked if prices were negotiable. Every other storage unit around had better pricing. Glad to spend my money elsewhere.
