Hired this business for a mechanical restoration on my 1984 Z28 camaro. Sent me home with the car after 4 months of work on it without a working temperature gauge and no coolant in motor which ended up blowing the head gaskets from excessive heat. I then decided to have engine completely rebuilt not knowing what other damage may have occurred from overheating. Charged me over $6000 for machine shop and labor and car never did run correctly. Ultimately I had to hire a different shop to pull and check engine and FST Restorations never took it to a machine shop. We were told that the engine was bored +.040 over with all new pistons, new valve train and new camshaft. Motor still retains stock bore and pistons and the camshaft was just an old used one that they just threw in thinking I would never know the difference. This place screwed me out of thousands of dollars without a care....would never recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a decent ride.

We left a 2000 dollar deposit and nothing was done to the vehicle. This shop is a rip off. I am very disappointed and hope nobody else goes through this.

This shop seems to be a place where you can build your dream car but unfortunately I brought my car here it sat outside in rear of David’s shop under a pine tree for many months even after filling out a contract a firm eye to eye handshake following a 2,000 dollar non refundable deposit with my vehicle untouched please beware of this shop sad to say I’m very disappointed

You know you found your place to go when you look forward to the next time your car goes in the shop. Got nothing but good things to say. David and his crew are down to earth, listen and explain everything. Had a front to back inspection of my 59, fixed a few things and gave me a thorough evaluation of what I need and should prepare for. Can’t wait to get to the fun stuff on my list.

All of the men at FST did a great job not just restoring my 1950 Chevy truck but at making me feel welcome every time I came by. David is great to work with and always took time to explain what was going on with the details of my truck restoration. Besides the mechanical restoration, he made sure the truck was tailored for a female driver and safety was his top priority. I am so glad a mutual friend recommended FST! This was a very special and sentimental restoration and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re a woman looking for honest and outstanding work this is your place.

I picked up my car which is over an hour from my house, i have trouble with it about half way home. The bolts to hold up my "custom hangers" for my exhaust backed out before I made it home so I drug my exhaust down 840. The exhaust was only welded about 3/4 around at each place the pipes were joined. No fuel pressure regulator for the electric fuel pump so it kept flooding out, and the distributor was way off. I haven't been happy with this since I got it back and this somehow coat me $20,000.

I had an 1971 Ford F-250 that needed a lot of work. FST put in a 6BT Cummins, reworked the dash, and fixed all the body issues to include a beautiful paint job. Kathy and David are a pleasure to work with. I trust the work being done in the shop. My truck is with them right now getting an all new custom wiring harness installed. I know it will be done right.

Spent thousands at this shop to only have a vehicle not running. They switched from fst restoration to fst restorations llc. I’m sure some have had a pleasant experience, which is why I chose to go there but apparently not the shop to go to for my kind. I have a beautiful 1968 Oldsmobile 98
