This particular one is lazy and don't want the hassle of answering questions or helping with a simple problem. Like.. I don't know, coming out and showing me where the fuse box in my car was. If they were busy totally understand waiting till they had time. But they were dead and there was one person in the store and they were in front of me in line. So do the math. LöL they was walking out the door and the store was empty when I talked them.

I was looking for a place to work on my car so i could drain and fill my radiator to get it prepped for the final filling of antifreeze and water when I called Advance Auto Parts about it and the person who was probably the same person who helped me ALOT replied with something like "Yeah, the bucket is good, feel free to stop by" to which I replied back with I'll be there shortly.So I got there and asked where I could empty my drain pan at and the guy told me "Right this way" to the back to which I emptied it with him helping holding it.Started jacking my car up to access the radiator bleed valve and that same person started providing me valuable advice like "removing the valve twist screw completely may cause it to leak in the future" and helped answer any questions I had to the best of his ability, for instance I had a question about where I could find the fuel filter so I could replace it as everything in my car needed it as it was sitting in a garage for a decade. He told it's possibly on the bottom right by the brake fluid reservoir.He also brought to my attention that I should consider cleaning the overflow reservoir which I gave no thought and he went back to help other customers which is completely understandable as I never hired him to help me and 20 minutes later he came back to help hook the battery back in place as I was looking to see how the reservoir came out.I did the other stuff on my own for a bit and started flushing the last cycle of cleaning my radiator, went inside to drain my drain pan and I started noticing my temp was going up to which I proceeded to go inside to ask for his opinion and he said what I kind of figured it to be, just a little driving to mix it all around would help, and he then informed me that the thermostat needed to be resetter and if in any case it didn't, use your jug of water to drain and fill it in the event of overheating.He was right and it went back to normal and my AC is nicely cold and I had peace of mind. Never got his name but he was wearing a shirt with vertically lined colors of white, red, and black or blue.He deserves a 20$+ raise, and if all associates who work here provide similarly excellent out of this world customer service then they should be invested into to keep them employed and happy. I never write reviews as my day around firms is mostly Hello, Need Help?, This is your total, have a nice day type of shenanigans. It's too monotonously cliche and weak, it's not their fault though as there's probably no incentive for providing excellent customer service outside an hourly rate set.If the person who helped me with my 92 Corolla is reading this, I'd like to say thank you for your knowledgeable help and not making me feel inferior despite me being not too car tech savvy, but i am gonna be in the future, so thank you for making me feel more confident in this endeavor.

Amanda and Russell were great and very hardworking. Not only did they help me with the parts I have needed but I see them outside cleaning up trash out of the parking lot and taking out the trash from the store and outside containers frequently. I wish I had two people that worked as hard as they do that I could hire to work for me. Great job y’all. Thank you for all you do.

Went to have my battery tested at 7:30. There was no one else in the parking lot and they employ told me I’d have to wait and it would be a while before he could help me because he needed to answer the phones. They weren’t ringing and I was the only one in the store. Seemed ridiculous to me.

The last time I went to Advanced, I had battery problems, after testing, the answer was I neededa new battery, a young man came out and removed the battery and returned inside, as the store manager was helping me find the right one for my vehicle, one of the guys in the back called for the manager, when she returned, she walked over to the best battery they had for my car, picked it up, and said, your old battery is still under warranty, and since you bought the best back then, we'll give you a battery of equal value. This saved me over $150.00, if they wanted to, they could have let me buy a new one, they knew I was in a pinch, and they didn't take advantage of me.

Wasn’t sure if my alternator was bad or battery. Disconnected cables and truck continued running so I assumed it was the battery. Took the battery in. They said it needed to be replaced. Paid $200, went home. It didn’t fix the issue. Went straight back 30 minutes later. It was indeed the alternator. They would not take the battery back. So now I’m out $200 unnecessarily. My battery was only 2 years old to begin with. I will not spend another cent with Advance Auto.

There are a couple of other auto part stores in town…but save yourself the trouble and just come here. They are quick, knowledgeable and if they don’t have it they’ll find it.I went another store here in town **cough O Riley’s **cough…let’s just say it was a bad experience…so much so that I left and went to Advanced. Great group of folks here.
