Steve very professional and knowledgeable. New set tires for our Jeep Cherokee L and came back couple days later with wife’s VW beetle nail in tire and fixed for free. Will be back when needs tires about 10,000 more miles. Nice to do business where someone remembers you and gives you that extra. Steve at Firestone works on that relationship way of doing business. Thanks

After almost 30 years of deliberately avoiding Firestone because of very bad experiences with the Antioch, TN store in the 90s, I mistakenly thought that certainly it can’t be that bad still, and I’ll give this store a try at a simple alignment and balance. Sadly, I have discovered today that the apparent company culture of trying to get every penny out of you for work they either didn’t do, or didn’t need to do, has not changed. The company reputation of finding “problems” that they just so happen to have a sale going for the items that will fix it, is still intact.Within 15 minutes of dropping it off, I get the call, “You need 3 new tires, to replace your tires (that are less than a year old) because we can’t balance them, and we just so happen to have a 3 tire package available.” They claimed the wear was too much to balance, even though none of them are down to the warning tread, but said they could still do the alignment. Even if that had been true, the part they conveniently left out, was that I will need to pay for a new alignment when the tires that are supposedly so bad, are replaced, even if I got new tires tomorrow, and yet still did the alignment anyway, which was pointless to do, and charged me. If the tires were truly that bad, why not suggest skipping the alignment? Every penny possible…After getting back to the store and looking at the treads, which all are still substantial, and then looking at the print out of the alignment adjustments, they charged me full price for an alignment, and still didn’t get the alignment fully adjusted. There were only two measurements out on the BEFORE print out, and they only corrected one according to the AFTER print out.The right thing to do, if the tires are truly that bad, would have been to advise me that the alignment isn’t that far off and because the tires are “so worn” it wouldn’t make sense to pay for an alignment, just to have to get it done again when you replace your tires (that are supposedly so worn, we can’t do a balance). If the tires are so bad that they need to be replaced, why did you charge me to do an alignment, that really didn’t need doing? Just to get $omething out of my visit? At this point if they don’t make it right, I hope they invest my $132 alignment money wisely, because it will be a different century before I set foot in another Firestone and will be sure to spread the word accordingly.I had hoped my opinion of Firestone would be changed today. Unfortunately, it was just reinforced.

The folks over at the Firestone in White House, TN. are just awesome. I’ve brought my work truck up there a few times now for various things from oil changes, brakes, tires, etc. and it’s a great experience every time. I highly recommend this particular shop. Thank you

Made an appointment to have some tires installed and I called to ask what the typical wait time would be. I was told I'd be in an out within 60-90 minutes. Day of the appointment comes and I've been sitting there for 90 minutes and my vehicle hasn't been touched. I am watching through the shop window and most of the techs seem lazy and unmotivated which will be further reflected later on. They finally get my vehicle in and the tech (thin build, long-ish hair, glasses, wears a beanie) makes a mess of the tire lube on all 4 of my wheels, and doesn't bother to even remotely clean it he just leaves it for me. Never experienced that before. I get my vehicle back after over 2 and a half hours and notice one of the tires doesn't have the proper air pressure. I pull up just outside the shop bay and politely get this same techs attention just to ask to put some air in the tire. He sees me and is visibly annoyed (although this is the first time I've ever spoken to this guy in my life). I try to ask for air in the tire but he cuts me off saying he put the right psi I just need to drive the vehicle. I say well the tpm system is showing 4 psi low and he again insists he put the proper psi and doesn't want to take the 20 seconds to just add some air to the tire. So I leave after nearly 3 hours, get home, the tire psi still isn't showing correct so I fill it myself to the proper psi. End of story. Overall not a great experience and I don't see myself going back or recommending this Firestone to anyone.

Wife took her car here to get her brakes changed. They didn't tighten the screws on the caliper properly and they fell out a few days later while she was on a trip in Michigan. Thank God it didn't happen at a critical moment or my family could have died. Will never do business with this location again.Remember people are literally putting their lives in your hands when you work on their vehicles.

Took it in because my tailpipe was smoking. Diagnosed it as a possible blown head gasket. This is beyond their current capabilities to repair. Didn't charge a dime for the diagnostic. I took a glance at the checkout monitor, they could have charged me $100, but decided to waive it. I'm very appreciative.I think they knew I'm about to have to spend a lot of money on a new engine or car. These guys are legit.

They will take advantage of you if they can. Had a tire go flat that they put on just a few months later. I live and work on the same road and drive almost no where on a daily basis. They would not repair the tire because my car’s mileage won’t show… it was just a few months ago when I put the tire on and with the amount of miles I drive on a daily basis it should be enough to repair a tire. You just can’t find places that will do the right thing anymore.

I thought I would try this place out for an oil change. I called the day before and I was told they were busy that day and I could make an appointment for the next day. I was like cool and made the appointment. I showed up at the time of appointment and I was told that there was a wait for like 2 hours. I ask "what was the appointment for" The guy behind the counter told me that it was like a doctor's office. You show up at your appointed time and then you may have to wait for several hours before you are actually seen. Who waits for several house to see a doctor? This is not the 1970's. So I walked out and will never be back. If you are a company that makes appointments then keep your appointments. I would understand having to wait up to 15 min. But any longer than that, then don't make appointments. Also don't get smart with me, and have lame excuses on why you can't keep your appointments. If that idiot had told me "we are sorry, we are over booked" or something along those lines, then I would probably have tried them again at another time. Mistakes are made.

Normally, no problems and I have great things to say about this location and still want to, but they were busier today than usual and that mixed with the heat I'm sure played a role on attention to detail and efficiency. Waited 2hrs plus for an oil change and tire rotation (appointment was pre-approved and checked in by them via the app mind you) and when they were done, I had to walk back in to get my lugnut key back for my locks. Also they didn't put the oil change sticker on the windshield. To some, this is trivial but $85 for an oil change in a Honda CRV and warrantied rotation is a bit much. I chose this location multiple times because they are usually better than others in the area and consistently good. I Will go back hoping and until they don't go consistently the wrong way.

My 21 year old nephew was visiting from South Carolina was visiting and had noticed a noise problem with the car. We wanted him to be safe while traveling. Firestone had the car for a full 24 hours and told us his cabin filter needed to be changed. They had not even looked at the problem, despite the car throwing error message. We decided we didn't want them working on the car. Because this was now a Saturday and other mechanics were closed, we took the car to Autozone, who hooked up their diagnostic machine. The 2 front bereings (sp?) were bad. I won't return to this Firestone, and I never, ever give ratings this low, but safety was a huge issue to us.

My favorite location in the middle Tennessee area. If you are using the Gallatin or Madison location, I would recommend trying White House instead. Typically fast turnarounds. I've been here probably a dozen times and only been disappointed once, which are pretty good odds. Great folks that work here.
