You MUST be fishing in order to use your canoe/kayak. NO LEISURE PADDLING. My spouse and I drove out for a nice day of paddling on a lake and were told we couldn't just paddle. This information was not provided on the TWRA website or Google Maps.

The people are very welcoming and they are very helpful and the lakes are very big and nice and it's easy to find I had a great time just going and looking around.

This was my husband & I first visit to the Lakes. The young woman at the concessions was great!! She went over a map of the Lakes & gaves us great tips on bait & what's biting. We look forward to visiting again.
