“My family of 5 and I were on vacation headed to the Pigeon Forge area from Michigan. We made it to the Jellico area when the water pump and thermostat went out in my Explorer. I called the first tow company I found, Reed’s Towing. The company got me in touch with a driver named Daniel. Daniel was incredibly kind and generous. Knowing that it was a woman with three daughters he had his wife come to drive us to a shop he recommended for the repairs. Daniel and his wife were both angels in a situation that had my family feeling very helpless. Daniel towed my car 40 minutes away to R&R Auto & Diesel. The price to tow my car was well below what I had anticipated. The incredible generosity only continued once we got to R&R. Rowdie was so thorough and wanted to make sure we were all set to continue our trip. He drove my car to make sure we wouldn’t have more trouble, he brought my car to me at the hotel we got for the night and the price made me feel like I was robbing him. His response was “you folks are on vacation you don’t need anymore trouble”. To say I’m grateful for the people that we met during this hiccup is an injustice to their tremendous kindness.”
