Service in this store is horrible. I can walk around in the store for a while and not one soul will ask me if I need help. Inventory is impossible to find even though the app says stuff is in stock. Good luck.

Great store... The place is always clean, organized, and stocked. I am always able to find what I need, or help is often nearby. Checkout is simple and fast, and I feel the prices are very good for the products.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Northern Tool, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with others. My visit to the store left me frustrated, and I encountered a staff member named Terry in the repair section who was less than helpful, to say the least.I initially went to Northern Tool because they offer repair services for Stihl products, which is the brand of leaf blower I own. However, my encounter with Terry quickly turned sour. His attitude was rude, and I felt like I was being treated with disrespect throughout our interaction.Terry informed me that they would charge me $60 for a diagnostic, an additional $25 for a tune-up, and a whopping $60 for labor. This would have amounted to half the cost of a brand new leaf blower! I couldn't help but feel that Terry was taking advantage of my situation. Frustrated and determined to find a more reasonable solution, I turned to YouTube for guidance.To my surprise, I discovered that performing a tune-up on a leaf blower is a relatively straightforward task that costs only around $10 in materials. I was able to successfully handle the repairs myself. It was evident that the services Terry was offering were grossly overpriced.Throughout our interaction, Terry's demeanor was consistently disrespectful. I wasn't the only one who noticed this; even the other employees in the store seemed to avoid engaging with him whenever possible. It's disheartening to see that such a negative presence is tolerated in a customer-facing role.As a result of this unfortunate experience, I will not be returning to Northern Tool. I hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale to others who might be considering their repair services. In my opinion, the customer experience should be characterized by respect, fairness, and reasonable pricing, and unfortunately, my encounter with Terry and Northern Tool fell far short of these expectations.

Pretty good store, lots of things to choose from, also work clothes and boots, and you get a huge discount for applying for a credit card. Interest rate is pretty low. And tools out the wazoo!
