Very unimpressed with this hotel so far. Ants all throughout the carpet. Black widows on the pool chairs. Microwaves won’t even pop popcorn. And the front desk worker was so tacky when trying to tell me they’re suppose to be charging us more per night for my kids even though their website says 13 and under are free(one per each paying adult).

The room was alright but it is not clean at all. I got dirty towels with blood stains and dirt. I would not recommend staying here. there are about three hotels in front of this one that might be a better choice.

The outside will make you think you are staying in a prison. However, the rooms were very clean. The AC worked perfectly, Beds were comfortable, and pillows were nice. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful.

"I had an outstanding experience at Best Western, thanks to Vincent. He had a few artist say here recently. His exceptional service stood out they said – he was not only super nice but also incredibly fast in addressing our artists needs. Vincent's dedication truly enhanced they stay where told, making it both comfortable and enjoyable. Kudos to him for providing excellent customer service!" Once we have more artist in town we will send them that way.
Edit. 6/9/24 We used this Location Again. This time was Awful. Our artist first got a cold welcome and when they asked for extra blankets. They where rudley told by a Lady that they could not get anything else extra. she just does not have it. They then were setting by the pool and an Indian man came out and kept asking if they where guest. Few of the members where female and felt really uncomfortable with how close he got. The AC stop working and the same Indian man that came to look at it kept saying it fine. they ask to change room and he said no unless we pay. It seem to be night and day from the last stay. This stay cost us more money to make up for the bad stay and we are seriously having to think about going somewhere else if the Indian man is still there.
Noteworthy details: It is nice that it is off the highway. Most of the artists we have are traveling on I20 so it does make it easier on them. The price is a little high for what you get.

After a 7 hour drive and a nasty hotel we book ahead of time across from this location we were so happy that this hotel had room available for last minute check in this by far was the best hotel we've been too it was clean had everything stocked the TV was big and you could watch a lot of different things on it the a/c and heat worked amazing and the shower was great overall it was an amazing experience with the hotel and the friendly staff I would 100% recommend staying here the only downfall at this location is that the pool was unfortunately closed at the time other then that it was great and in a great location! 5 stars from me and my family

Not a bit of chipped paint or pealing wallpaper. Not a spec of mold in the bath which one often finds in hotels costing twice as much. When passing through Abilene again, this will be my stop for a clean room at a reasonable price.

ROACHES!
Woke up to half dead roaches in the room. Was told I wasn’t getting a refund because I didn’t speak with the front desk which is a lie. Then they changed their reason because I didn’t give them a chance to fix the issue. If you want disease carrying roaches infecting your belongings this is the place to be! Uploaded pics for proof. This hotel manager doesn’t care about its guests and lies to prevent having to refund. Would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Facility continues to look brand new and we know it is at least 3-4 years old!! Staff is very personable. Safe location. Breakfast options need to be labeled properly before someone has an medical issue from mislabeling. Please address this issue. Management, please listen to your staff when they report problem issues.

Arrived after 12 hours of driving to find the sofa bed dirty and no sheets or pillows available. The bathroom trash had not been emptied from the previous occupants, only had two towels in the bathroom and asked for two more to be told the hotel ran out of clean towels. We also got woken up at 5AM to a concrete truck and workers pouring concrete right out our window that we were not told would be happening or anything on their website. I have sent two emails and a voicemail to the general manager Nicole within the last few days and have gotten no response.

Staff was great and very helpful. The owners of the Hotel makes you feel uncomfortable. We were told they were watching our every move. We were randomly room checked never had that happened. Because we took breakfast to our room we were told we were going to a track ants in the room because of that. Then we went to extend our stay because our car was still in the shop. We were told we had to find a different hotel.
Walkability: You have a Denny’s that you can walk to everything else you have to drive.
