“The older gentleman many of you mention in your reviews was my grandfather. He passed away two years ago this February. He could definitely be grouchy at times, especially after the seizure that changed him. Before that, he would have never acted or spoken the way he sometimes did.
Should we have taken him off the register? Probably. But we were afraid that if he stopped working, we would lose him even sooner. Staying busy gave him purpose, and despite the hard days, having him there meant everything to us.
We’re still the same family you’ve known, now under new management with my aunt taking over after both my grandparents passing. We truly appreciate every one of you, and we hope you’ll give us a chance—whether you’re new to the shop or returning after some time away.”
