Alternator went out while passing through Abilene. Called around to a few places and got referred to Dave Ford Motors. I called to get some info and they said bring it on by. I limped the car to the shop but it fully quit about 5 blocks a way and couldn't go anywhere. I called the shop to let them know, and they jumped in the truck, hooked up a charged battery, and got the me rest of the way. They got my car around 3:45pm on Wednesday, pulled the alternator, got it rebuilt by a reputable Alternator shop, reinstalled and inspected the vehicle for other issues, and got me and my family on our way by 11:00am on Thursday. Despite my situation, they didn't take advantage of me, were very helpful, provided great service, and the work quality was great. I don't want to break down anymore, but if I do, I hope it's in Abilene so I can use Dave Ford Motors.

This was my first time buying a car. Unfortunately I should’ve done more research because I believe I got scammed. I paid over $8000 for a 2009 Toyota Yaris with over 100,000 miles on it they made it seem like a great deal. I took out an auto loan from my bank unfortunately not even six months later of having the vehicle I got in a car wreck that totaled the car. It was not my fault so their insurance paid for it. However, they said the worth of the car was not even close to $8000 so my insurance payout just paid for the loan be paid off except about $300 left.,.. I’m left in the hole without a car. Next time I will do research before buying an over priced vehicle.

I have bought numerous cars from Dave Ford over the course of about 15 years, 2 kiddos, 2 moves and 2 divorces. They have been fair and worked with me during the good and the bad. They are more than a car lot, they are a family who cares. You will never find a bad car on that lot, I promise! I have bought brand new cars and regretted it. I always return to Dave Ford Motors and I don't even live in Abilene any longer. Thank you Stacey and Princey!
