My father went to purchase a shotgun from this EZ Pawn location. He was told to wait 30 days because he misread a question for the background. So I went to purchase the shotgun myself. He canceled his layaway and was charged $32 for some restocking fee. So we refuse to again deal with EZ Pawn on N 1st in Abilene Tx. A bunch of crooks. UPDATE: I've emailed the customer service as requested by response to my review. I still have not had any response to my email. It seems like the attempt to resolve a issue is more of a save face on the website. Immediate response to negative review, while 48 hours later. No response to an email attempt to resolve the issue.

I called in about a piece of equipment and the lady Erica was very kind and friendly, she looked it up to make sure they had it and held it for me until I got there!! Great great customer service

Don’t ask to speak to a manager about any issues you have. I was told one thing by an employee and when I went to resolve it the manager wouldn’t take accountability for what her staff tells customers. If you do speak to a manager good luck if it’s Tay. I have used EzPawn for years as a pawnshop and as a store to find items. I will never be back here. The manager is the most childish example of a boss I have ever seen. Being a manager my self I would be ashamed to know I act like that to customers especially ones that have been loyal to my store for 6+ years. I was yelled at over the phone and told I am a liar and that what her employee told me was a lie. After trying to talk to her and continually being spoken over she proceeded to hang up the phone on me and not actually help me resolve my issue other that what she wanted to do. She didn’t ask who I spoke to or give me any chance to explain my side. Word to the wise go somewhere else. Read the BBB reviews about lost and stolen items that have come up. This store used to be great but has really lost their customer service ability.

They don't take good care of people, everything is a lie about the warranty, the manager is racist, there is only one person who works there who when I went to buy was the best one who took care of me

The worst experience, we went to buy and because we did not have a Texas ID they did not allow us to insure what we bought. The next day we had to return because it was defective, we came in the morning and they had not opened, we returned after work and they did not change our equipment because 24 hours had passed, they are the worst

The store manager was so unprofessional today. Ive heard things about how unprofessional she is but i didnt believe it until today when i saw it with my own eyes especially when you have a store full of customers. Not a good example of a store manger or being a leader.

People who work there are great just that I got my xbox outta of pawn and it was damaged and didn't work when I got it home. They said I should have checked it before I left. But the facts are it was damaged in their care and they refused to replace it. Offered to buy it back at half price. I've used these guys for years now but I'll never shop here again. Yall be sure and check yall electronics before you leave otherwise it's on you according to the manager I spoke with 2day
