Super friendly local people. We've been banking with FFB for almost 30 years. They're always ready to help and always there for you for all your loan needs. Several convenient locations in Abilene.

My husband has been banking there for years. However, we recently had our will done and they refuse to have their notary sign them. Thank goodness for having an acct @ Teacher's Fed. C.U.! Their notaries will sign wills and Staff are more pleasant there also!

Last year I asked for a secured $500 loan. They made around $1,000 of interest rates from my loan. When I asked for a regular loan they yelled do you have good credit and denied me! The women are so rude and they insulted me about my age as well! They are bottom feeders!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a better banking experience and what made it was the people! Tracy, Gloria, Dacia and Becky were so good to me. Opened up a personal account and business account. I like the fact that being a now Abilene local I’ll be able to put a face to those dealing with my hard earned money and help me manage it. Thanks again for all your help! I look forward to a long lasting relationship. (I happened to be walking around Abilene last night and snapped this photo)

Used to not be a fan for many years and to be honest, setting up a new business account has been frustrating, but one good thing I can say is that the employees always seem to want to help. Sometimes that is a good thing and they work it out, sometimes not, but I think better training could nip that in the bud. They've got a lot of employees, it would be nice if they were all on the same page. Now that all the kinks are ironed out, hopefully it will go smoothly. Overall, I've been pleased, so far.

This bank is always open. They have the best customer service hours. They are open for customer service most federal holidays. They are a state bank with local employees. The bank has over 70 locations across our state. They offer no fee checking accounts with no minimum deposit.

Worst Bank Ever!! I've been banking for 50 years and because I was in the military, I banked all over the world. First Financial Bank is the only bank, that I've banked with that charges you for every little job they do with your money. A bank takes your money and reinvests it in other ways or uses it as collateral to do things. First Financial makes money from your money and charges you extra money to do that. I call that double dipping. FFB, if someone deposits money into your bank, just use it to make yourself some money, don't charge/take money from the poor to make even more money for yourselves.

I don't know how they operate with their customers, but I have had a terrible experience with them. I have attempted to gain employment with them in a number of positions. I recently moved here due to spouses military orders. I just want something to get experience and grow for many years to come. Rather that be starting as a teller, loan processor or whatever they have. I have 4 years of active duty military, 4 years of reserve while completing my undergrad. I have been accepted into numerous graduate programs ranging from MBA-Finance to MS Finance, and look forward to spending many years in Abilene. However, I applied to many positions as mentioned before and I made a phone call one time to see if they needed anything else from me. The woman (that answered the phone) said that another woman named Francesca (I believe) would love to hear from me and is currently in the office. So she transferred me and the phone rang through, so I left a voice mail. I called again about a week later to touch base with them and I was told that I shouldn't call back and if they needed anything from me, that they would call me. Pretty much, to just leave them alone. I have applied to maybe 8-12 positions and haven't even gotten a response back. They won't get back to me to let me know what they would like from me to become a better candidate. The point is that they were rude and wouldn't work with me. Regardless about me not getting a job, which they owe me nothing. I would rather be shot down and told what they needed from me to become a better candidate, than just told that I shouldn't be calling them. It's unfortunate, really. I hope everybody (customers) are treated much better. This Bank didn't grow to the size that it has by providing terrible customer service and treating people badly. I think I was just an anomaly that got a hold of somebody that was having a bad day. Maybe me calling twice was their excuse to toss my application aside. Or maybe I am under qualified for the positions. Once again, who knows?
