WARNING! I hesitated to write this review because I didn't have a good experience with Freedom Motors and most people won't write a bad review. But, because what happened to us involved the safety and welfare of my grandson, I felt the need to let other car shoppers know and to be beware when considering a purchase from this dealership. As it turned out, Freedom never had the 2011 Lincoln MKZ that we bought checked out by their mechanic. They don't even have a mechanic on site (first clue). When we had the car checked out, the mechanic said he was surprised my grandson was still alive and that there were numerous, undisclosed problems with the car. Never trust a salesman who just wants to make a sale, especially one who puts profits above the safety and security of their customers and other drivers. By law, Scott finally bought the car back, but he wrote the check out to someone else and it was $500 less than I paid. Our family and friends have trusted Scott before, but never again. There are many GOOD dealerships in Abilene, Freedom Motors is NOT one of them. WARNING!

Scott and James went above and beyond for us. We’re from Amarillo. There was a minor cosmetic repair that Scott said we could have corrected in Amarillo. Unfortunately it ended up costing more than he expected but as he promised, it was done without hassle. Very respectful and a Man of Faith! We definitely recommend them both and would do business with them again!

I could not be more pleased with our experience with Freedom Motors. This is my second time purchasing from Scott. He’s honest, generous, and more than worth the 600 mile drive from Kansas City to purchase vehicles. My wife and I got a fantastic deal, Scott walked us through the whole process and even followed up weeks later with some of our questions. Just, wow! Excellent service!

Bought a Honda CRV from Scott and James last week. The buying process was very pleasant, both men were helpful, polite, and genuine.The vehicle drove well, it did however make a small noise during start-up, but we attributed that to the starter being held too long. The car drove great and with our preapproved financing, we drove her off the lot that day. The following morning I start the car up and the rattle reoccurs, i am alarmed given this is a Honda and not known for mechanical issues.Later that day I drove back to Freedom Motors to pick up the official plates. I mention the issue to Scott and James, they in turn insisted that i get it checked out with their mechanic. A few phone calls later and they are giving me a loaner while this issue gets settled. Keep in mind the car was bought "as is" and i had zero expectation that ANYTHING would be done to help me. The car ended up having to go to the Honda dealership, Scott James took car of everything. I didnt have to do much more than drop off and pick up the car.The car is fixed, it runs great, and i never so much as heard the word bill.My wife and i will not be buying cars through anyone else. These guys are amazing and we were so blessed to have the good fortune of dealing with them.

Bought a car from here and that was an ok experience. Wouldn't budge a dollar on asking price and hit and miss on communication. Very disappointed when a friend who was with me ask about looking for a truck and they treated him like second rate, in the way, and never got back to him about the truck he was looking for. They didn't work as hard for him as they did the person who was buying that day. I really lost respect for them. Money is all that matters.

had been looking for a fair deal on a Chevy diesel truck for a while, had a few hiccups looking on-line, as in I found a great deal on a truck in Oregon, only to find out it was cheap because the owner removed all the smog equipment, I found out the industry term is EGR delete, anyway I came across a fair deal at Freedom motors.com I messaged them and James got back to me, we talked price, I made an offer, he said it was fair, he did a video walk around for me, I love the truck so I arranged to buy it, he set up the transport, although you may want to do your own research as with any service, it is out of his hands once the truck leaves just as well as it would be out of mine, nonetheless, I received the truck in the quoted time frame and when a problem arose, a minor problem, most car lots especialy one that is a thousand miles away from you would brush off and ignore, James and Freedom motors stepped right up and took very good care of me, I will be refering them and if I need another great vehicle at a more than fair price I will check their website first and call them first, Thank you James.Sincerely, Ken Flynn
