They spray everything with chemicals. I guess they want to.poison poor people. I discovered if you soak clothing in Bronners liquid soap and add eucalyptus or peppermint essential oil, then dry it in the Sun, THEN wash it in regular laundry load, it's the best way to remove persistent chemicals. PLEASE do this before you wear anything ESPECIALLY babies and children.

Why is Goodwill marking up brands HIGHER than retail stores and for USED! Every year, their pricing is getting more and more ridiculous. Jeans 29.99 , used work boots 29.99. Don't get me started on their hardgoods. We will not be donating again. And please spare me with,"You'll do better on pricing." I've been reviewing this store for the past 3 years with the same response, and you've done nothing. Folks who depend on thrift stores can't even afford your prices! SHAMEFUL!

Ridiculously high prices. $25+ for a donated blanket is mind blowing. Goodwill desperately needs to reevaluate their pricing structure.

I visited the Goodwill store recently, arriving at 5:30, with a good half-hour left before their closing time at 6:00. To my surprise, all six employees simultaneously yelled, "WE ARE CLOSED," and I was promptly asked to leave. The experience was rather unpleasant, as I had expected a more customer-friendly approach. It would be nice if the staff were more accommodating and understanding of patrons who arrive slightly before closing time. I am very upset, because I told them I only needed one item and I would be less than 5 minutes but they forced me to leave. Very upset and hurt.

Not my go to thrift store anymore, but it is the best Goodwill in Abilene. I have found so many good finds from paratrooper boots to bookshelves. Prices sometimes make you go hmmm, but the staff is always friendly and helpful.

My wife's favorite goodwill store, heck mine too. We drive from Sweetwater just to go here!I think the cooking section is probably the funniest for me. Always on the hunt for a missing piece to a set, or some lucky grill accessories kinda find.Electronics is usually pretty fun stuff as well, maybe snag a DVD or 2 for our growing collection. My granddaughter can usually find a big ziplock bag of toys for like 2 bucks , winning.

Disappointing to say the least. I went to 2 today and I've never seen more over priced junk! Both stores were very disorganized, dirty etc. It's a disgrace to see an organization devoted to helping people so trashy. Enough said. 1 star is plenty.

I'm a widow starting over and on a fixed income. All I asked was lower prices because I can no longer afford the things I could when my husband was living. I was excited to see goodwill close to me. Till I found out I couldn't afford things at goodwill either. What a shame. Things that are donated are the same price as used.

Wall mirror in there priced at $40! Are you kidding?!? It was a donated item. If I wanted to pay that, I would go shop at Kirklands or Target. So it will sit in there and not make anyone any money because no one will pay that.
