We switched to this pharmacy about a year ago (after terrible customer service with Walgreens and CVS) and have had nothing but great experiences. My baby was refusing to take an antibiotic due to taste, I took it back and they added different flavor, they were happy to do so. Next, there was error on my sons insurance, I was going to cash pay until it was resolved. But an employee called and told me what the issue was & that she would call the insurance company. She got it resolved &I was able to use insurance. Not to mention, the drive though line moves fast and a human picks up the phone when you call! Best pharmacy in town!!!

They helped me with our dog's narcotic, which was new for us and had me emotional due to our dog's health news. They were very kind, understanding and supportive. Great customer service.

Been a customer here for 10 years and the customer service has really gone downhill in the past year or two. Different clerks each time I go in and they're incompetent and disrespectful. I'm looking for another local pharmacist who values my loyalty.

All 3 McCoy's Pharmacies in Abilene are always fully staffed, professional and efficient. Customer service is a priority and although they have many customers they fill every prescription quickly and correctly.

I will never use another pharmacy. Really has that hometown feel. Even the pharmacists are friendly, which isn't the case everywhere. They always have what I need and answer any questions I have.

First difference I noticed once I began using this pharmacy and, perhaps the most important, is the employees are friendly and polite. Means a lot to a Mom just trying to get what will make her baby start feeling better. Unfortunately, I haven’t encountered this at some other pharmacies in town. They’re also fast! Which is almost as great as kind :) I am very pleased with my experiences here. Big thanks to the James McCoy staff at the Antilley location.

I like independent pharmacies as I think you get better service. James’ pharmacies are no different. Will go back.

I had such a good experience here that it makes me want to switch over to them. Super fast drive thru (I’ve never seen one this fast!) and super friendly and kind service. I got the virus and got the kit from here and they were so polite and helpful. 10/10.

My wife needed medication to help us keep our twins from being born early. Prescription was placed a day in advance and the pharmacy did not let the drs know that they didn’t have this medicine in stock, you would think that knowing this is an important medication that could save lives or take them there would be more communication. Maybe I’m just naive ?

Do not understand what happened To James McCoy's pharmacy South. First it's "we don't have anything for you and 10 minutes latter it's ready. Then it's "you need prior authorization", after I call the doctor and the insurance to get prior authorization then my doc's nurse calls me and said it's not prior auth. that is needed, it's too soon to fill but I called it in the day after it was due (you know #90pills and 1tab 3 times a day = 30day supply. Math must be different than when I went to school). Then I find it wasn't too soon to fill. It was prior authorization that was needed after 5 phone calls. And now prior authorization has been granted. Everyone you talk to at McCoy's it's a different story. McCoy's use to be a great pharmacy. This stuff has been Going on for the last several months. Good Luck folks.

I went to James McCoy's because CVS doesn't do medication compounding. The first thing I noticed was that the pharmacists knew their customers by name. I was immediately helped (at CVS they're always on the phones) and my prescription was filled the same day. I'm transferring my prescriptions to James McCoy's.
