I was told to bring my car in for body repair on 12/19/23 and did so. A full month later I called to inquire as to progress of the repairs. I was told the facility had been running behind but they were working on my car as we spoke and it should be ready “soon”. The next week it was ready. Your team did a fantastic job. I am VERY PLEASED and want to commend them for a job well done. I will continue to strongly recommend Lawrence Hall Chevrolet just as I have since 1989. I only hope that delays are an exception and not the rule.

If this is the dealership in Abilene Texas that I am providing the survey on, I was disappointed in the service department. I understand there was a national back order on the part that my car needed but I was told incorrectly that my warranty on my vehicle had expired. I ended up taking my vehicle to the Lawrence Hall dealership in Anson Texas where I was provided a loaner car to use (for over a month and a half) and my vehicle was fixed after the part came in and was also informed that my warranty had not expired. I was very pleased with the folks in Anson Texas. Shame on you Abilene dealership for not researching the warranty status.Kudos to the Anson Dealership and service department for doing a job correctly from start to finish! I will be doing business with Anson again!

I called and talked to Mike Finch and I told him I had a problem with my alternator or my battery. I didn't know which. He told me to bring it in and he would check it out. He called me in a short time and said it was the battery. I was impressed that my truck would be completed so fast.

I had recently just had my daughter in September, which left me with a new baby, and an 2004 vehicle with no AC and lots of other issues. My husband and I had went in the Lawerence hall dealership to look at ideas for a new car a couple days before Christmas. Steve Porter was the salesman that assisted us in looking at a new vehicle. He made sure to make us feel welcome and helped us with any questions we had asked. There was no feeling of hassle or pressure while looking at a new vehicle. Steve also made sure that my family left in a safe dependable vehicle. Forever grateful for him! Thank you again for my beautiful car! It was a great experience.

My 2021 Tahoe has been into a GM dealership 4 times (the last 2 times at Lawrence Hall) for my service safety restraint system light being on. The first 3 times were within the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. Each time I was told it was “fixed.” This last visit, the service department told me one of the GM dealerships had used butt connectors to correct the issue and GM requires the wires be soldered and shrink wrapped and that I would now have to pay $190 to have that done since we are out of our original warranty. I asked them what they did to fix it the last time it was in, and they said they cut a zip tie to release tension. So basically it seems like a bandaid was applied until I was out of warranty and had to pay to correct the issue. The only reason I didn’t give them the lowest possible rating is because after we complained, they agreed to split the cost with me. In the end I paid $90 for an issue that should have been corrected while under warranty.

Service had the part in stock but kept my car for a week before installing it.Service consultant Mike Finch was very helpful but of course he had no control over the guys that do the service. Would have preferred just a call when they were ready to install instead of keeping my car for a week. Very unprofessional.

I was in and out of there within 25 minutes! The staff was kind, and the environment was inviting and quiet. Definitely will be going back for my next oil change or diagnostics.

Purchased an Escalade there a little over 15 months ago. Got whatever "gold tier" service package they had to cover work on it. Took it in for first oil change and the price was astronomical, not covered. Just had a service appointment that was scheduled 3 weeks in advance to get cruise control, air conditioner, (both completely inoperable) and oil change knocked out. Dropped it off at 7am, get a call at 4pm that the only thing they got to was an oil change. Didn't even diagnose the other issues. Next appointments aren't for a month.Spoke to a rep (JD) who was very uncaring who just said "yeah, the appointment is just to see an advisor, not to actually get any work done. We recommend leaving the car for up to five days." No rentals available but "there's an Enterprise across the street." People have jobs they need to get to, and paying for a rental due just to make sure I can be upcharged on service that may not even happen just isn't a good look for this dealership. Scheduling "maintenance" weeks in advance means nothing because their work management is so poor and they've got cars in there that have been getting worked on for a week yet they continue to schedule more. Poor management, clearly poor leadership, and definitely poor product quality. Go to another dealer in Abilene, or go to Dallas. This place ain't it if you want quality in any form.

Our family was on the way home to SC from Flagstaff when we noticed our truck was running a bit hot, nothing serious but enough to be concerned. We placed a call to the service dept. at Lawrence Hall and spoke with Chris. He told us to keep an eye on it and if we were not comfortable with it to bring it by. So the next morning my husband took it in. They did a few tests and discovered there was a leak, the thermast was faulty and our home mechanic had pinched a hose, so it wasn't cooling properly. Chris and his crew went above and beyond to get the parts, replaced them and got us back on the road headed home the same day. Without their help we could have been stranded miles away from home. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Kerry Burns was helpful and a straight shooter, most importantly, he wasn’t pushy!! I drove the car and thought about it for a few months while I tied up some loose ends and went back to see him for the new car and he fixed me right up!

Monte at the collision center handled my repair needs in a highly professional manner. The work was finished within a reasonable amount of time, and the courtesy wash was highly appreciated. I bought my Denali from Lawrence Hall in Abilene and my hopes of being treated as a valued, appreciated customer during this specific repair process was realized to the fullest extent.

I took my 2000 Chevy pickup in for oil change and the multiple maint check. It only took 45 min which was ok but it took another 20 min for Art to bring the keys around so I could checkout and leave. When I got home I raised the hood and they did not fill or even let me know the washer fluid was still empty. Brake lights were not working, which I knew, but they never told me. Im not sure what else they did not do. I rescheduled to have brake lights fixed and finish the multiply maint check they were suppose to do during oil change. It was marked complete but again the washer fluid was empty. I made Art check when finished and he added the washer fluid. I have bought over 8 vehicles from this dealership and they have done all maint on them. First time of dissatisfied I still don’t know if they checked everything or just marked it off as done. Was very happy with brake light fix but very unhappy with maintenance check which they told me they had done.
