Always so clean and tidy. Usually I only have to walk an isle or two to find help finding what I need because I swear if what I was looking for was a snake, it would have bite me a few times before I find it.

I went to buy batteries for my power tools and Quentin was very helpful. He looked up the difference between the two types of batteries available and helped choose. He was very professional and friendly at the same time. Customer service there has always been great!

Went to Lowe's (Abilene) today. What an ever disappointing experience. I can't tell you how many times a year I go in there and leave empty-handed and aggravated. I have been in there enough the last 7 years to know where everything is. Almost every time I am there I have another customer that comes up to me needing help finding something. And then they start telling me about how much they hate coming into these 2 stores. How counter-productive that you're so short-staffed, further exacerbated by the fact that you will only hire young, unknowledgeable people that you seem to be counting on quitting in about 2 months or less, as opposed to hiring an educated, knowledgeable, loyal, customer friendly older person such as myself. In the last seven months I have submitted about a dozen job applications with Lowe's and had 6 interviews. I was even told after one interview that I was hired and expect to be called in two days for further instructions. After hearing nothing, on the fourth day I called that manager (Raul) to remind him that I hadn't gotten my call. He tells me that he decided to hire some one else. So, what is wrong with these managers? How can you have successful businesses when exceptional mediocrity is acceptable? Three days ago, in the tool area, a fellow down the isle from me, got my attention him cursing Lowe's out loud, he says it just pisses him off to have to come into that******* store because no help, and to get one thing he has to buy a package of other things he has no use for for more money. I am with these people all the way. Age discrimination?

I'm so disappointed with Lowe's, we came yesterday 9/28/23 to get us a dryer, ever dryers they didn't have it on stock cause min dryer broke and we needed one ASAP, we got one it didn't work, I called the guy said bring it back its 24 or 48 hrs to return, we rush this morning, today the same thing no dryers in stock.. what kind of Lowe's is this .. now im without a dryer

Helpful worker helped me find bolts, though 2 were the wrong size. I/he should have double checked. Same experience a couple weeks later, helpful workers to navigate the ropes section, that time.

Bought a new Freezer Oct 2021It went out 2 months agoThere were communication issues with appliance repair place. Lowe’s manager refunded me for cost of freezer.Because of their excellent service I bought another freezer and dishwasher

We normally come in to get items from them, but this day was sooo bad. Lady in customer service was extremely rude and was very little help at all. Ended up having to call a manager over. We spend a good deal of money in here, but will likely be going elsewhere.

So was in town looking weed killer products I wondered around the isle about 5 mins then proceeded outside to see what other options they had as I wasn’t in the market for a squirt bottle type deal as I am needing to treat a large amount of lawn so as I was browsing I seen a water mist thing by the entrance it was HOT figured I’d indulge in the mist. into the garden area where I was greeted by a young lady maybe 17ish told her what I was looking for she said she had no clue and that the garden manager wasn’t there suggesting I should ask someone inside so I went back in and saw another young fella whom walked with me to the isle I’d first been on and he didn’t have a clue as to what the best option would be about two minutes into that a different YOUNG and yea clues gal come strolling up and gave me no insight so we bid farewells and I continued on where another lady whom didn’t have all the answers but knew generally what I wanted stopped to help…..we went outside and back in found the concentrated roundup but not the hose sprayer I’d intended on getting anyways we fiddled up down the isle finally finding the right stuff and I thanked her for her help also knowing that she’s not technically a retail associate as she comes and does random resets through different locations so I was also needing dremel bits for my dogs nails looked and looked and low and behold the second girl was stationed in that area where as I asked her where the item I was looking for was she then again tells me she had. I idea in the back of my mi d I’m thinking wow Lowe’s has gone down hill as far as associates go I did end up finding the sparse selection in the tiniest corner before you hit the lumbar part of store I was with my mother she had bought a fridge over a year ago and the bottom I’ve make had stopped working 3 months into it she purchased the extended warranty on top of the automatic warranty that comes with purchase we were taking care of my dad on in home hospice today would have been his 79th birthday he’s since passed but at the time we didn’t have time to call repair man fast forward 2 months after he passed away I called for my mom as I wasn’t employed at the time and set up a service call in which the guy calls my mother at work tells her he knows what’s needed and would just order the part and show up at a later date he did call a week or so later he re scheduled and arrived with the top ice maker instead of the lower one!!!! He said he’d have to come back with the correct part leaving his pocket knife behind and me an unpaid day off this happens two more times tho once he NEVER showed up!!! Calling West text appliance to see what the deal was no one would answer for months finally get ahold of someone new in office and come to find out he had closed the ticket out saying all work was completed and the year warranty was expired mind you I had called both stores and Lowe’s cooperate and Frigidaire months prior spent many hours on the phone with them, explain it in my plate in which they just gave me the runaround will know long story short but I’m home and gone in there with me to Lowe’s and was talking to the general manager of the store about the situation and he was so disinterested he was looking around distracted told her that that’s just how it is in fortunately there’s not but like 2?warranty repair places cause techs are hard to come that it’d be a corporate issue about the techs come from yada yada yada mom has been a loyal customer of Lowe’s for decades and this will be her last stop in unless it’s to fix the ice maker. Very disappointed in the customer service and customer service and staff lacking experience and or knowledge of every question we had I’d suggest going else where
