I originally dropped my car off for it giving me a “service four wheel drive” code. They said I needed a new transfer case, and I asked that while it was in there if they could go ahead and run my check engine light and diagnose and solve that issue. They said it needed a new vacuum pump and it also needed a new motor mount. I approved all the work on a Monday. I pick my car up at 5pm on a Friday, as soon as I get in my check engine light is still on and my car is still slipping gears between first and second (their description of the issue). I get ahold of them Monday morning, they tell me bring it back in, so I do and they keep it for 3 or 4 days before calling and telling me I need a whole new transmission. I agree to it and they begin the work on finding someone to rebuild my transmission. However, I get a call later that next week that my transmission is actually fine, it was just a modular issue and my car is ready to pick up. They said they weren’t charging me for the modular fix, so I have received no evidence of that work. I asked about the engine light, he said it’s been cleared and solved there shouldn’t be any other issue with it. He did warn me that I would need new struts at some point though, but it’s not urgent as of now. I go pick up my car and the check engine light is still on as is the “service 4 wheel drive” notification. I dropped my car back off with them for either the 3rd or 4th time, and they call and tell me I need a different part to clear the check engine light and it’s gonna be between $3-400 to fix it now. So far I have spent $2,600 and none of the issues with my car have been resolved. They have offered me no help, and even were trying to charge me further diagnostics after they have continued to misdiagnose it. I would appreciate an actual resolution of my cars issues OR my money back so I can take it somewhere else and have it fixed correctly.

I've never had a better experience with a shop than as I did with My Mechanic. Fast, and it cost me half of what I was expecting to pay. I was happy with everything. If your in Abilene us My Mechanic.

Absolutely amazing place of business! Dropped off my car to be looked at @8am had it back by 5:00pm same day! Ac fixed and breaks changed! They worked with is as we are in a crazy situation. They will definitely be coming back anytime i need service!

As a student with only one vehicle, I really needed mine to be fixed ASAP once it broke down. Mateo and the team all did a great job of expediting the process and getting my ride fixed within a couple days. They even offered to have one of their team members shuttle me back to their shop to pick up my vehicle once it was fixed! They are all really cool and helpful folks, I would highly recommend if you looking for a solid shop in Abilene.

I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this place. They charged me $100 to do a diagnostic. They had it for 3 days. I told them it had a vacuum leak. All they would do is test drive it. What did I even pay for? No smoke test no computer diagnostic just a test drive. No information No place to start looking. The oly thing i got out of the situation is a smile and a $100 charge.Dont wast you time and money on these deceitful lazy people

Called the shop yesterday, they busted their butts to fit my car in today and they did! Friendliest shop clean and prices are reasonable! Will be coming back in the Future.. definitely A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well, I'm impressed. For a repair that would have been over $1,100 at the dealership, Cody guided me through a much less expensive option! He told me how to get the part and their mechanic installed it for significantly less. Thank you for your integrity and commitment to customer service!

Good repair shop that stands behind their work. I returned after brake work to verify if the new problem was related to the new brakes. They diagnosed it at their cost and determined it was not a problem with their work, but is a new problem. I would use them again.
