Went in to get watch links taken out of a watch my boyfriend bought me somewhere else. Not only did they take the extra links out quickly - it was cheap and they stayed open past 6 to make sure they did it right & it fit. They were so nice & knowledgable. If I every need anything fixed or repaired again - FOR SURE going to them again!!

The owners of this jeweler are absolutely phenomenal. They are so nice and helpful. I love small family owned businesses and they are my go to jeweler. The atmosphere they have created here is so amazing. They always take care of what I need and they make my engagement ring look brand new every time. My normal jeweler was closed for construction so I came here to get my main stone looked at due to the prongs making it loose! They fixed the prongs and even cleaned it in under 5 minutes for FREE! Highly recommend!!

Very nice folks who are very knowledgeable about jewelry and jewelry repairs. Did a beautiful repair job on a ring and was very reasonably priced. I really like that they do the work in-house and don't send it somewhere else to be repaired.

In July of 2021 I took my engagement ring in because one of my side stones fell out. Upon inspection it was found that ALL my prongs needed to be replaced/redone. So I ok'd the work. Picked up my ring, paid over $400. I noticed the prongs on the main stone looked really chunky. They said that's normal. Fast forward 7 months and I noticed that the tip of a prong had come off. Called J Shea and he said to bring it in. Winter storm happened and on Monday I went to store to have ring checked out. Store was closed. Took my ring to another jeweler and was asked who did the repair work and I told him J Shea jewelers. He said to me "I'm sorry to tell you this but your ring has been destroyed" when they redid the prongs cut them down so far and build them up again with a lot of solder. My ring had to be COMPLETELY rebuilt. $650 more dollars for this. I went back to J Shea's only to find out he had passed away (that's why store was closed on Monday). I didn't fight the issue because now that the ring was redone there is no proof but my little receipt of payment which didn't state the work they did.
