there’s a lot to say about this place. i don’t know where to start. the salt water tanks are riddled with disease that will make all your other fish die. ich. you’ll have to restart your water and tank completely, flushing a couple hundred dollars in the process if you have a large tank with nicer fish. the reptiles are not housed properly. everytime i visit (because i need food for my rodents and reptiles) there are multiple ball pythons in one enclosure. i understand they don’t have enough room on the floor to put many up…why even buy more snakes if they can’t have their own set up? and on that note, why are they not on at least reptibark? eco earth would be best but carpet?? are you kidding me? housing ball pythons together is harmful for them and super stressful for them. stop doing this to these poor animals. the supplies they sell aren’t always in favor of the animal and you can’t trust the associates knowledge. please do your research yourself before listening to them. picking rats and mice up by the tail is terrible for them. guinea pigs should never have a ball or wheel but they won’t tell you that. too many of my friends buy animals from pam’s and then i have to educate them. i mean whats even going on over there? minimal training for animal and human safety would be great. then you can stop misinforming people about these animals. also, the parrot is just sad. i’ve seen him my whole life in this store. would like to think he goes home with someone and enjoys being in a store all day everyday but i don’t trust these people. in general, do better. not many people care about animals that aren’t fuzzy and cuddly but they should matter to someone. hopefully a pet store would care, but obviously not this one.on a good note, they always have the food i need for most of my animals when amazon doesn’t ship mine in time. employees are always nice, they just need some help on how to care for these animals. i’m not blaming them on not knowing, but they should get some training to do their jobs.

Order an aquarium and want to look it over before you load it? You're obviously an idiot. Absolutely nothing in shipping could possibly scratch exposed glass.Edit: You have an odd way of expressing "no problem"

I asked for 6 large feeder mice. I only have gotten all medium & 1 baby mice. for the same price I pay for 6 big mice. it sucks this is the only place who sells live mice.

I would say this is more of an aquatic or fish store than a reptile store as they have hardly no reptiles. Calling it a pet store is a far stretch. Should be called Pam's aquatic fish and birds. The guy there seems to always have an attitude.

Locally owned and awesome. Been shopping here for over 20 years. Great place for salt and freshwater aquarium needs as well as a huge selection of pet supplies. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Bought my first snake here and my first salt water aquarium. Never regretted either purchase.

the parrot in the middle of the store should be on sale if not brought home as a forever pet. he is not an entertainment object. he is a living thing. he’s an animal. please take care of him and take him home if not sell him!! most animals here look sad. i wish i could save them all but i can’t. salt water fish are terrible and i feel that no one takes care of them. rodents look neglected. please take care of your animals.

The employees there are great; friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The male manager on the other hand... not so great. Not even addressing a customer standing 5 feet away from him, instead, going through an employee to relay his message...Staff- 5 starsManagement- 2 stars

Awesome store. Went in today to learn about fish tanks and Sarah was amazing! Didn't end up buying today, but I would absolutely recommend talking to her for any fish advice.

If I could put 0 stars I absolutely would I got 3 ghost shrimp from Pam’s about 3 or 4 days ago and I added them to my tank being sure to not add any of the water they came in. My fish all have ick (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis) now and all of my mollies and smaller species have died. I called Pam’s and informed them of the situation the woman who answered the phone tried to blame it on a water change it the weather changed or even my tank heater when absolutely everything has remained the same except for adding those 3 shrimp in. She then said “okay well I don’t know what you want me to do” she was completely unprofessional, not willing to take responsibility for the fact their tanks are contaminated. I will never return to Pam’s besides that the customer service I received while there was extremely poor. Now I am down about 100 dollars in fish and I have to treat the fish remaining all over 3 shrimp. DO NOT BUY ANY AQUATIC LIFE FROM THIS STORE

Very nice and friendly staff. Went in looking for some grain free dog food and this young man helped me choose some. I told him how picky my dog is and he said she would love Taste of the Wild Dog Pacific Stream with Salmon. I told him I didn’t know but he was right. She loves it. Great customer service.
