My service writer, Jennifer Boyles, is the absolute best! I’ve worked in dealerships, & dealt with many dealerships, & nobody has been as professional & informative as Jennifer. I don’t have to guess what’s going on with my vehicle, she always provides timely updates. Jennifer makes going to spend money a lot more enjoyable. I wish every customer service person was as good as she is!!

Star Dodge was amazing with my service for my older Jeep Wrangler! Logan, my service technician, was patient, informative, supportive, and compassionate. He offered all options with what we talked about as well as suggesting supportive supplements like the courtesy van ride home, payment options, and online payment. I had a special situation and he was extremely patient with me. The van driver was kind, courteous, clean environment, and really fun to talk to! The cashier was very kind as well. It was an overall great experience! The only note that I have for them is that it would be extremely nice to have loaner vehicles. I would be more apt to go there when I could go to a regular mechanic if they had loaners. I was able to experience a bus ride for the first time in my life and it wasn't a bad experience, but time wise a lot more effective to have a vehicle.

The salesman, Jesse, was very kind and very good at his job. The only complaints I have are the WAITING!! We were paying cash and were ready to sign the paperwork, but we had to wait for the financing person. That confused us, buy we went with it, that was at 12:45....we didn't get to see him until after 5. We were so tired of sitting there that we thought about leaving and going elsewhere. We finally get to see the guy and he had a mouthful of chew going on, which thoroughly grossed me out, it was difficult to look him in the eye because I would also see his mouth. He was very helpful, and appreciated, but if you can't smoke at your desk, you shouldn't have a baseball size of chew in your cheek and spit in a cup when you're dealing with the public. The other thing is there was only 1 key fob for the car, kinda concerning, not a deal breaker but it should have both sets. The dealer should be responsible for providing and making sure there are at least 2 fobs per vehicle.Other then that, everything went well. Something definitely needs to done about the length of time it takes to get through the process. It shouldn't take that long ever.I appreciate this opportunity to express my opinion and satisfaction.Sincerely,Marla Martindale

I called the first time and left message with a service writer, after a week of not getting a call back, I selected Jennifer, I was pleased with her. They put in lifters and done other work to my pickup, I assume it's fixed, but didn't get 15 miles from Abilene and heard noise, the plastic wheel well in front was banging around, and now my brake light came on, needing service, the brakes made a moan sound the first time I used them leaving dealership and has continued doing so. Makes me wonder how good the mechanics work is on the inside of the motor. That's why I give a 3 star and I'm stretching it

The service work done in my Jeep was superb as usual. However, I do want to comment on the lack of customer service. Star Dodge had my Jeep for 10 days. During that 10 day period there were several delays. I did not receive any phone calls or updates. I had to call to get an update. After 4 days I was told that the parts had not come in yet. How about a quick phone call to keep me in the loop. After a couple more days I found out that the master mechanic had to re-up his certification. Both these reasons made sense to me but you MUST communicate with the CUSTOMER. I hope this feedback is helpful. Star Dodge has always gone the extra mile for me. You must commit to customer service. It makes all the difference against your competition. Have a good day!

Although everyone is friendly this place is chaotic. My car was towed over to the service shop and when I went to collect my things from my car the service station had lost my keys, so I was not able to get my things at the time I set up which made me have to take multiple trips to retrieve my personal items. When my car was ready to pick up they offered a shuttle to pick me up so we set up a time. I waited and waited for them to arrive but no one showed. When i called to see where they were, I was told that they forgot to tell them to pick me up. Everything was fixed properly but it’s so disorganized and frustrating.

Car was fixed properly run great with no lights on. However it took 43 days to put a mass air flow sensor. So we were forced to purchase a cheap third vehicle in order for my wife and myself to meet our work obligations. Because we live 19miles out of the city of Abilene.

I went to get my state inspection completed here. I was in and out in about 15 minutes! Logan was professional and very nice. Star Dodge has helped us with both my truck and my wife’s Jeep. We’ll definitely be back!

Star Dodge was very nice to us. We might have to be going back as not certain that the entire problem was fixed but that's for another survey. They are very backlogged but they will try and work with you.The only other thing is that the name on the account needs to be changed and evidently they still have not done that

Julian, Bob and Chris at Star Dodge were AWESOME! If you are in the market for a new vehicle and want a great experience with car salesman, these guys are for you! They made the process super quick and easy and very personable. I would recommend them to anyone. I am very excited for my new Jeep! They will make it happen. :)

From the moment I walked into the dealership’s service department, the happy energy was apparent. Everyone seemed happy to be there, and they were all incredibly friendly. They were able to complete my oil change is just 30 minutes. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience and I will be back.

I dropped my van off last time and they kept it for 2 days not doing anything with it. All they did was hook it up to the machine to see what code it was throwing. And they told me they didn't have time to work on it then, even though they had had it for 2 days without calling and telling me that. So we rescheduled for the actual work to be done. Took it in Thursday and it should have been done by Friday but never heard from them before they closed. Called Monday morning and left a message and no call back. Called again and apparently the guy that was supposed to work on my van hasn't showed up to work the last 3 work days. And they don't know what to do cause they can't get him to come to work. So once again my vans just been sitting there and they never called to tell me that. The kicker is it's a wheelchair accessible van and I unable to go anywhere with out my personal vehicle. I have to go to a mandatory dr appt weekly, this was told to then upfront, so my vehicle is needed. I guess I'll have to pick my van up once again and just find another mechanic since they don't have anyone there to do it.

I called back in the middle of June to schedule my appointment and order parts for the recall that my vehicle had. Was told that it would take 7-10 days for the parts to arrive and that I would receive a call to schedule an appointment. About 2 weeks after my initial call I started calling the advisor leaving voicemails and not getting a return call. On the 4th-5th day I called and spoke to the service manager to schedule my appointment. Service manager seemed very uninterested in scheduling my appointment.I arrived at 0730 to check in and get my vehicle worked on. I requested a loaner as I am a full time single dad. Took an hour and a half to get my car checked in and receive the loaner vehicle to drive. Service advisor Johnny was unhelpful and did not seem interested in helping me check my car in for an emissions recall. The lady(Norma) that gave me the loaner was very unorganized.I received a call around 0930 from the service advisor telling me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. I told the advisor that it would be a while before I would be able to return to pick up my vehicle and he responded with “oh well we need the loaned back” so I told him that I was at work and my son had a doctors appointment and I would return the vehicle after my sons appointment. I also asked the service advisor if I could see the parts that they replaced on my vehicle and he said “oh well those parts are already gone. So I told the advisor that I would like to see the parts that they replaced.Upon arrival to pick my vehicle up around 1500. The advisor was not very helpful when picking up my vehicle. When I asked the advisor to see the parts that were replaced he was very hesitant to allow me to see said parts. When I walked in to turn in the keys for the loaner vehicle Norma was very uninterested in helping me check the loaner in.My entire experience at Star Dodge was absolutely the worst experience I have ever encountered in any dealership and was very unprofessional on every level.

Really enjoyed my rep, Josh Ally from Star Dodge. He kept me updated regularly, and worked with the maintenance tech to get my vehicle issues resolved quickly. I will definitely consider utilizing them in the future for my vehicle maintenance needs.
