Went to get a breakfast burrito as seen on the poster out front egg, cheese and strips of bacon on top. They have a habit of giving you egg with bacon bits mixed in and no bacon strips so I asked “Do you have actual strips of bacon?” She says “yes we do.” I say okay, “I’ll have the strips of bacon on an egg, cheese and add refried bean burrito please.”She said “so you don’t want the bacon and eggs? The eggs come mixed with bacon.” I said “I don’t want the cheap bacon chunks I want any actual strips of bacon, then eggs and refried beans.” She says “well we can’t do that.” I look at her like she was crazy and just walked off.What breakfast place refuses to serve you strips of bacon on a breakfast burrito when you tell me you have bacon? What’s it for? Unbelievable!

This place has horrible service. Walked in today to order tacos from the Laredo Taco counter. I ordered 2 Gran Tocino Tacos. The lady said that they were out of bacon. I went ahead and ordered 2 Carne asada tacos. She then responded saying carne guisada. I said no Carne Asada tacos and pointed to the sign above. At that point the guy next to her commented saying they also didn't have that in a snarky tone. I pointed to the sign saying that it's on the sign. At that point the guy went off on a random rant telling me "I have signs all thru my store of items that I should have but I don't." I told you we don't have those tacos available". He said that on the most condescending tone. Loud enough that the whole store is now looking at him and I. All because I ordered 2 things that were on his menu. As a consumer if you don't have it, just say we don't have it but this is what we have. Instead he fired off on a customer. I was so flustered and embarrassed that I said " you don't have to effing yell at me because you do t have items". He then proceeded to ask me out of his store. I have never been more embarrassed because I wanted to order items off a menu. I can't help he doesn't have anything. I will never set foot on a stripes/ 7-11 or Laredo Taco Company location for the rest of my life. The sad thing about this whole interaction was that the guy who did this was the General Manager. I believe his name tag said johnathan/ General manager. He seemed so proud of asking me out of his store. For what? All because I ordered something from the menu he did not have. The Store leadership had a bad attitude and set tone for his employees. His interaction essentially taught his employees that it was ok to act like this. The general manager set a dangerous precedent today at 12:45pm. He almost seemed proud to kick me out. I challenge anyone from the Stripes corporation that reads this review to pull video footage of todays time and date stamp to see this. Maybe antibody can as having a bad day. Maybe he had a few bad customers before me and was fed up. All I did was ask for 2 tacos. I will make sure when anyone asks me of Stripes/Laredo Taco Company to tell them of this interaction and horrible interview. By default I have to give this place a one star. I wish I could give this location 0 stars.

Stripes has Laredo Taco. Laredo Taco, when it's fresh, has great tacos and Enchilada plates. With the rewards app on ur phone u can decent discounts too. They have deals on occasion too that they send out texts about. I definitely recommend them. Just make sure and ask if the tortillas are still fresh soft before hand. Sometimes the employees don't pay attention to details like that when they are having a long day.
