This place does not care about you. I have lived here a few times, for about ten years all together, and the new management/ owners are the worst I've ever seen.
They towed my wife's car while she was in the hospital on chemo. Getting the car back meant we're not able to pay rent, and there's nowhere we can park here that they won't tow. They TELL their tenants to park in the Lowes parking lot, and now Lowes told them they're going to start towing too.
The mail boxes are outside and leak, so every time it rains, all your mail is ruined. Also I've put in at least ten different requests for water damage in the ceiling and walls from leaks my upstairs neighbors have caused and still nothing. They somehow do have time to come in while we're not home and leave threatening letters on my door about how my apartment isn't clean though. Sorry I'm spending all my time either at work or with my dying wife so it's not the cleanest, but it's not like there's trash or food everywhere. My doorbell fell off the wall when my upstairs neighbors shook the apartment once, and they still haven't fixed that either.
The guy they sent out to fix my AC also told me it has a leak, and needs to be replaced, but the office told him to just refill it every time we complain about it instead of replacing it.
My kitchen cabinets are also falling off the walls and so crooked that things fall out of them. They put extra nails in to make sure it won't fall on us, and called it good. There's an inch between them and the wall.
Once again. They do not care. Do NOT stay here.

I have lived here for almost 4 years and things were fine except the neighbors flooding my apartment a few times a year. But I've recently been diagnosed with cancer and going through chemo when they decided to tow my car because the registration is out. I'm putting every penny I have into getting better and they just made it even harder. Now I have to pay to get my car back in time to make my medical appointments. Money i frankly don't have and have no idea how I'm going to get.

Spoke with Sorrell on the phone and she was very helpful and answered all my questions about the property. She was so nice! If you are looking to move to Timber Ridge as well, ask to speak to Sorrell! :)

Timber Ridge Apartments is a great place to live all the amenities and everything are outstanding. Staff is wonderful from the girls in the office to the maintenance staff that work diligently and very hard. If you are not living at Timber Ridge, you are missing out.

Juan Rodriquez did a WONDERFUL job figuring out what was keeping my air house hot still even after replacing my compressor or whatever it is called. Ever since he got the inside fixed my ac keeps the whole house cool and especially at night time too.

The best maintenance service ever. I just needed one thing fixed and he helped me out with more small things. He was thorough is what he was doing. He explained to me the problem so I could avoid the same issues in the future! He was really sweet and didn’t leave anything unfinished. 10/10

I am a resident here at Timber Ridge, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the 3 wonderful women who work in the lease office. These Women are always very kind, super helpful, and understanding. I love how they care for there residents…and I’m honored to be one of them;)

Everything was great (if you dont count the flood we had before never being finished on repairs) for the almost 4 years we've been here, that is, up until the last week and a half. An upstairs neighbor flooded our master bath and master closet on Tuesday the 21st. They sent in the carpet company to dry everything out. Cool. No biggie. We told them as soon as the carpet company gave us the all clear on Thursday the 23rd. We had to sleep in our couch the whole week until yesterday the 29th when they redid JUST THE POPCORN on the ceiling in our closet. We gave them extra time due to the holiday weekend and being short on maintenance workers, but over a week sleeping on the couch with a 7 month old isn't ideal. We put in some work orders and they closed them out without fixing the issues. We're over a week in and just saw that they closed out our work orders. They said it was supposed to be done (I mean completely finished) by tomorrow the 31st and all they've done is scrape off popcorn and redo it. If it weren't for the fact that the girls in the office and John on the maintenance team have always been great I'd give it one star, but they have always been great up until this happened. The other maintenance guys left damage from another flood a couple years ago and it is extremely irritating that we're dealing with it again. I won't let it go this time like I did before. Mold is a very serious issue to have. Although we loved it here and (except for the one time our autopay didn't work) have always paid rent on time, I don't believe we'll be renewing our lease this go around. Hopefully things get better and we can change our minds on that but for now the outlook is bleak.

We moved in a few days ago and I gotta say this place is wonderful. The leasing agent and employees in the office have been so nice and accommodating, highly recommend checking out Timber Ridge for anyone looking to relocate to Abilene!

if we could rate it a thousand stars we would!! me and my husband moved here in january and when we first applied at these apartments they were so nice, understanding and caring they made us feel like we were home♥️ the apartments are great and so are the people!!!
