Arrived at 8:30 to get a propane tank filled. Pushed the button for service as instructed. Saw a two employees walking around doing other things. Apparently they don't have 5 minutes of time to fill a propane tank. Waited over 30 minutes. Left at 9:05. Horrible service

To Abilene location on Clark. Will never deal with again. They cut lock off my TRL there. Stole belongings out of it. Before securing it back up. U-Haul are theifs in my eyes. I will say Sweetwater, TX and Johnson City, TN set a standard Abilene could work to aim for.

Called ahead to confirm service and the best entrance when pulling a trailer and was answered by polite efficient person. On arrival pressed the bell and Jennifer filled the tanks safely and efficiently.

Would give zero stars if possible. Made a reservation three times in the last two days and they had said they had the truck and then I made the reservation and then they canceled the truck and said that they did not have it the rude lady on the phone hung up on me at the end of the call. I do not recommend this U-Haul or any other U-Haul in the Texas area of Amarillo Abilene hereFord or Pampa, Texas.

Went in to inquire about purchasing packing materials when I witnessed some sort of manager dressing down an employee right on the floor in front of other customers and employees. The poor employee looked like she was mortified amd nearly in tears from this.As a former manager myself, such behavior is extremely unprofessional. It's a morale-killer amongst the staff and it puts prospective customers ill at ease.I'm not sure what the other customers did after seeing this because I decided to take my business elsewhere.As for the poor lady who got humiliated, go find a better place for employment. That place isn't worthy of your hard work.

The outbound mileage was logged incorrectly on my rental, resulting in an overcharge by about 70 miles. I have a picture of the odometer from when I left, my gas receipt, gps mapping of my drives, and have filed a complaint through corporate. Ridiculous that this is even necessary. I will not recommend this location due to the inaccurate work of the employees and the need to jump through hoops to get this corrected. Aside from that, the parking lot is riddled with potholes right at the front door. Not a major factor here, but lends to poor overall appearance and upkeep.

The reason why I'm giving this a one star I got a truck yesterday and this is actually the first time I've ever known about this but I noticed that when I get out to the truck there was some dance scratches and things like that and when I took out my phone to take video and things of the truck the lady told me well you're supposed to I'm going to send you the link and you put it through everything to the link why didn't she tell me that before I walked out what if I had to just take videos of the truck and then when I got back they say what you didn't put it through the app then I would have been responsible for it I think that that was could have been a setup and I would have to pay out of pocket if I hadn't went back in the tow lot this is what's going on with the truck they should tell people when they get the truck I'm going to send you the link to whatever might be going on with the truck so you want be responsible for it and she did not I picked up my truck yesterday at 3:00 Thursday the 28th

Travis was an amazing manager here. I appreciate all the help and everything that he did for my beautiful wife and I. People may forget your name, but they'll never forget what you did for them or how you made them feel. This was one of those times. We were very blessed to have him that day and hope that God blesses him with miracles in the future.

This location is the best place to go. Very friendly staff have all the stuff you need. If you need boxes they got small, medium, large you name it they most likely have it. Also if you want to rent a truck they make sure you have everything you need. If there is a truck in front of you truck they are really nice about moving other truck's so you can get to your rental. Would highly recommend 826 S clack street U-Haul.

This is a locally family operated location and a hub for the surrounding areas. With that being said, I physically came to this location to ensure I had a reservation for a 26' truck with trailer. A representative looked in the system and the dates that I needed the truck were not available so I pushed my date by a day, she reserved my truck and trailer so a couple of days. I call back to follow up and I am told that no truck is available and I will have to pick up the trailer from another location 40 minutes away. I come in the following day to speak to the manager and explain that my reservation was valid and go through the whole story from a week prior. She informs me that U-Haul national representatives sometime inadvertently double book without notify the actual Regional location and then explains that it is summer, people going on vacations, moving, it is the first of the month, etc. Long story short, she found a truck that was coming in on the day I needed, but I had to pick up the truck from Sweetwater (40 miles away) and hitch the trailer at their location in Abilene. Needless to say I had to push my departure date back due to this and other foreseen circumstances which she included extra miles in the contract for the inconvenience. Just remember Abilene is a small hub for the region so ensure you plan accordingly and reserve out way in advance just in case you run into these snafus. Thanks U-haul for the assistance.

Debbie was a lifesaver - she was able to provide a moving van to rent after the reservation I had placed was cancelled due to a mistake I made in scheduling the pick up time. I am extremely grateful!More generally, we've rented 2 vehicles from them for in town moving purposes. Both vehicles were well maintained and in good shape overall with minor wear and tear as would be expected. Contract details were clear, reasonable and clearly explained. The pick up and drop off process was efficient. The U-Haul app allows for self pickup and drop off which would probably make things even quicker. Prices were reasonable ~$50 - $60 for 4 hours of in-town rental and 20 miles (or less) of total travel plus the price of gas to fill up prior to returning the vehicle (as would be expected).

Horrible customer service at 5his location. Ensure you take a clear picture of the trucks "out" milage. I was stuck with an additional 100 miles. No recorse and no one really seems to care here. Simply rude employees. Unfortunately it's the largest U Haul location in Abilene. I'll be looking elsewhere going forward.Update: you are responsible for U Hauls mistakes if you don't complete the online pictures etc onsite. This even thought by the U-Haul reps at this location admit their site is extremely difficult to use.Nice job U-Haul
