Hours: The United States Postal Service (USPS) is the only organization in the country that regularly delivers to every residential and business address. While the staff at the Abilene Main Post Office location has been described as pleasant, polite, and professional, the handling of a lost package situation left much to be desired. Customers faced difficulties in reaching the office by phone, with calls going unanswered for days. The inability to resolve the issue without an in-person visit was also a source of frustration. On a more positive note, the postman at one location, Ray Courville, has been praised as the best postman the customer has had in different states and neighborhoods. Additionally, Johnathan, who assisted a family of four with passport applications, was described as wonderful, kind, and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure their needs were fully met. However, not all experiences have been positive, with one customer reporting an unhelpful and unfriendly staff member at the counter. Overall, the USPS locations offer a mix of friendly, efficient service and communication challenges, highlighting the need for consistent quality across all branches.
