At first I took my fur baby Lucky in to Judge Ely cause another vet service refused to allow me in with my baby “due to the bs covid” since then the staff at Judge Ely has made my baby a lot better took a little bit of time cause fur babies can’t tell us what is wrong ( unfortunately ) but due to their caring and devotion to keep trying to figure out what is going on and not giving up Lucky is doing a whole lot better. I thought Lucky was dying but the staff at Judge Ely didn’t give up. I will always go to them and highly recommend them. They may be busy as all get out and don’t have time at that moment but if your willing to leave the fur baby they will see them when they get a free moment and will call you with a update. They are great.

I have used Dr. Worthington off and on for over 20 years and I always come back. She is the kindest person and vet. I have many geriatric animals and unfortunately have lost many in the past few years. She is always so compassionate! We have now decided to make her our permanent vet! Highly recommend her!

I Absolutely Love Dr. Worthington and her staff! I have been with her for over 20yrs. She is Extremely Knowledgeable and Practical. My dogs are my family and she treats them as such. She stays up to date on all of the current procedures and treatments. I could go to any vet in town and Judge Ely Animal Hospital is my #1 Choice! Thanks for all of your wonderful years of tireless dedication and service, Dr. W!

I went to this place for about a year. They were nice, but anytime I called they could never get my dog in for the next couple of days. And if something is wrong with my baby I need same day. They always referred me to the er vet and I’m not going to pay those kinds of prices. Or drop off and he’s not going to sit in a kennel all day. Other then those issues in my case they were ok. We have left and go to a different vet now.

The staff is so amazing! It is the beat clinic in my opinion and they see more than just dogs and cats.

We've been taking our dog here for the past year. We got him as a puppy from the shelter and they've taken great care of him. When we go in for his vaccines they only charge for the medicine, not an office visit. When he got really sick and needed to be seen ASAP they got him right in and on the meds he needed to get better. When we travel we board him there and they provide the food and everything he needs for a minimal cost. Boarding is based on weight and patients get a discount. We are very happy with the vet and office staff.

I can't say I recommend this vet. There's something unwelcoming and cold about the girls at the front desk, and the vet techs seem bored and tired. But mostly it's the front desk staff I find the most off putting. Three times I had to schedule my puppy to be neutered. The first time they called me last minute and said the vet had to leave town suddenly for a family affair. Totally understandable. I rescheduled. No worries. The second time, however, they called me at around 8:30 in the morning demanding to know if I was bringing my dog in or not. I informed them that, per my calendar, his appointment was not until the following day. I get rudely told that I am wrong and that now I am late. It is insinuated that I have somehow ruined everyone's day. This was during the Great Random Abilene Icestorm of 2018 so my car was encased in about 5 inches of solid ice. I hadn't cleared it off or warmed it up because I had no plans to go anywhere. I tell the woman on the phone this. She gets even more put out. I ask if I can just bring him in the next day (the day he was actually scheduled although she continues to deny that)...I am told no. I am told that the vet is so busy it will now be over a week until the procedure can be done. Am I being punished? The world may never know. Sooooo, it gets rescheduled. She is on speaker phone and my husband is sitting right next to me. I wrote the day and time down and I input it into my trusty phone. I reiterate: "now this is the day and time, right? I need us both to be sure" I am told yes. We hang up. The end. A week later I get a call from yet another rude staff member. "We are calling to confirm your dogs appointment tomorrow" Ummmmm......his appointment is day after tomorrow. Once again I am rudely told that I am wrong and they are right and I can't prove otherwise and am I bringing my dog in or not? Does this vets office exist in some rip in the space time continuum? Is there a worm hole these women must drive through on their way to work? My husband was a witness! I wrote down the day and time the last woman had barked at me (see what I did there? Hahaha)! Needless to say, I rearranged my plans and brought my dog in the next day. The reception was cold as usual...borderline contemptuous. He got fixed and updated on all shots and we went on our merry way. I'm searching for a new vet, btw.
