Had an appointment as well as a verification text and email for an injury appointment. I was told that an “appointment is an umbrella term” and that even if you have a confirmation it’s not a guarantee to see the vet. Was subsequently turned away and told to come back in the new year.

Horrible. I would leave no star’s. My dog passed away and I’m still responsible for playing his wellness plan for an entire year! Absolutely insane! DO NOT SIGN Up FOR THEIR MONTHLY WELL ESS plan IF YOUR DOG DIES YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR SERVICES YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE.

Gosh I can’t say enough positive things about this location! We pass 3 to get here because it’s worth it.We ended up having to put our pet down over the weekend and were a smidge nervous since we weren’t getting those who knew dixi or that maybe others wouldn’t be so tender. Not true at all! EVERY single person we crossed paths with was gentle, attentive, and kind.If you’ve had bad experiences at other locations please consider Addison! It’s night and day!!

Doctor Stephen Reinisch, DVM at Banfield Pet Hospital of Addison, has been my Vet for about six years. He has always taken exceptional care of my dogs. He is very attentive to the needs the pets placed in his care. If you call him with any emergencies or questions about your pet he always calls you back. Also his staff are always very professional, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend him as a Veterinary Doctor and alsoBanfield Pet Hospital of Addison.

After following up with Banfield Cares as suggested in their reply there is no change to my rating. No adjustment will be made. The vaccine will come with an exam and the client will pay the exam fees.

Don't take your pets here if you have any actual concerns about their health. We just had to lay our dog to rest for something that could been possibly mitigated by adequate veterinary care at Banfield. We've been taking all our pets here for years and had no problems. However, with what just happened, I can't not speak out.Our dog, Risu, had lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time. We took her in with concerns, and they did blood work, noted some high levels, especially calcium, and said an ultrasound would be the next step. As Banfield has an ultrasound person come in only once a week, it was difficult to schedule. However, NEVER was it stated that this was a worry that would require urgent attention. If it had been, we would have got an ultrasound elsewhere (but that would mean less money in their pockets).Fast forward two weeks, Risu stops eating and drinking. We take her to an emergency vet, where she's been fighting for her life for a few days, just for her levels to continue increasing, liver and kidney problems to arise, and so on. An ultrasound was done, and she had a lump in her liver. Furthermore, the emergency vet said high calcium levels are something that can be treated with medication, and she was unsure why her previous vet (Banfield) had FAILED to do something.Despite the hard work of the emergency vet, today we had to put Risu down. Sudden weight loss is NEVER something that should be written off as easily as they did. But we trusted them, and that was our mistake.

I would give it a 4.5 stars because of the drop-off system. We dropped her (female dog) off at 9:15am and were able to pick her up after 1:30pm. We did sign up for the benefits program because it was the most cost-effective from other programs at vet clinics we’d visited; with it, we got all vaccines and flea worm prevention medicine included. Front desk staff was nice and sweet, and doctor was detailed over the phone when dog was ready to be picked up.

Dr. Reinisch is amazing! He treated my dog like his own when she was very sick. I can’t thank him and his staff enough for their hard work! 10/10

I took my cat on Sep 3 for a complaint of a vomiting cat. Vet gave her an ointment for hairballs. I was not allowed in consultation room. Today I put my dear Yoli to sleep, as a massive tumor in her stomach squeezed her life. Guess who missed the tumor 3 weeks ago? The BanfieldVet. Shame on yall. Avoid thisnplace at all.costs.

I love the Addison Beltline Banfield location. They are quick. They take great care of my girls. They suffer just knowing they have to see the doctor, but all the staff there takes great care of both my lil girls and tries to make them comfortable.

Dr Stephen was very informative and caring. I lost my best friend today, but I am grateful for such a caring team that made the process easy for us and was able to give us the answers we needed.
