“I have had an annual flower plan in since approximately 1992 from Rembrandt For my son's grave.
I do not live in Dallas anymore and since 2004 there are no other family members there who can visit or take pictures of the grave or the flowers for me. However, it has always made me feel good to stay connected through my use of the flower plant and Rembrandt's meticulous care.
Knowing that contract was due again I called today to go through the very quick and easy process of reinstituting the contract, and got one of the best surprises I have had in quite a long time. Kat answered the phone At Rembrandt and patiently explained about the increase in prices, which, they are a business, happens almost every year, she then let me go through my vent about prices, which happens almost every year too, LOL. At the end of it all I gave her my credit card number and for whatever reason told her that at covid when Rembrandt was allowed to reopen and began putting the flowers out again as per my selected dates, someone took pictures for me, and sent them to my cell phone, which meant the world. I not only got to see my son's grave, his name, and the beautiful flowers, I got to feel that I had the opportunity to be with him as though I were right there with in Dallas. That simple gesture meant everything to me during that awful time.Today, to my surprise, as I had not made my comments hoping or expecting that there would be any pictures at all, it was just me relaying of kindness and a reason, one of many, why I continue to do business with Rembrandt, Kat told me that she would make sure that every time the flowers were placed this year, she would send a picture to my cell phone. I found myself too choked up from tears to respond immediately and she thought that I had hung up, I was finally able to speak up and let her know just how knocked out. I was at her empathy and beautiful gesture. It's always the sign of a good person when you cannot see their face but they Interact with you in such a way via email, text, or cell phone that when You end the conversation you feel taken care of, Understood and very good about the contact. Personally, I find it extraordinary that someone's voice and mannerisms can convey those emotions when we are so impersonal with each other these days, and when it happens to me, I value that interaction, and in this case I shout it out, I let someone know who may be their supervisor and others who may benefit from an interaction with that person at that company, for whatever needs may be.
Thank you Rembrandt florists for continuing to bring beauty to my son's grave, but it most especially, thank you Kat for continuing to bring some beauty to my soul today, I cannot tell you how much I needed it,”

Most orchids one sees today are phalaenopsis, and they have a lot of those too. But there are tens of thousands of orchid species—I’m glad that at least a few people are still growing other kinds!”
