āKetaā Davis went above and beyond when we picked up our Nissan Rogue rental SUV. She totally ensured we could get our navigation maps and music for our long drive. She was helpful once again when we returned the rental. Highly recommend!

Iām really disappointed with the service at this location. Iāve booked cars with Hertz around 10 times before and never had a problem, but today was different.
I had booked a small sedan three days ago, and now Iām being told ā at the last minute ā that itās not available. The only option offered was an electric car, which doesnāt work for my trip. Because of this, I had to cancel my plans.
Whatās worse is that I wasnāt informed earlier and nothing was offered to make up for the issue. This has been a really frustrating experience, and honestly, this is the worst service Iāve received from any Hertz location.

Too long wait time even with the 8 employees around. Only 1 of the employee was serving the customer, other 7 were on the computer and didnāt want to help the waiting customers.

They donāt answer the phone, they donāt have the cars they say they have, and they do charge your card when you book.

Same as other reviewers - accepted the reservation, even talked to someone on the phone - showed up, no cars available. Enterprise has an excellent store 0.5 miles down Midway that was a pleasent experience.

Stay away from this location. Terrible experience with a reserved booking at this location. My daughter went there today to pick up the Jeep we reserved and rentedĀ for her. Ā The front desk person and the manager saidĀ they had no jeeps or any other suvs or no cars. They said they called to advise- they did not call. They ended up giving her a sedan. Ā Instead of charging her
$339 they charged her $596. Ā No invoice was provided.No explanation of higher charge. A sedan should definitelyĀ be cheaper than a suv.
We want a copy of the bill. I called the location 3x no one ever answered the phone. My daughter said they were completely disrespectful to her. This is not acceptable.
I am a long time Hertz Gold member and
I am so disappointed in Hertz.

The representative misguided me to go to another location because they did not have any vehicles even though I had the reservation. Only After going to the love field location I was told that my previous reservation cannot be honoured since they have different prices in each location. Wasted 1.5 hours and 60$ after which ultimately I had to cancel the reservation.
Terrible experience!

Location closed and no accurate hours posted on their front door. We had a one day rental from Wednesday to Thursday thanks giving. They said they would be in and they werenāt. They werenāt in Thursday Friday or Saturday at any of their posted hours. Finally came in Monday and they guy said they were open Friday but they werenāt and we hung around until 11am so they clearly donāt have their things together.

I was charged $400 for using toll roads. Iām aware that driving on toll roads cost money, but the rate Iāve been charged is like 400% higher than what it actually costs to drive on the toll roads with a toll tag. The costs were not disclosed to me at the time the contract was signed. I was not given any alternative solutions (like using my own toll tag which apparently I could have done). They use āplate passā which is an unaffiliated 3rd party fee administrator so there is an intentional disconnect between hertz billing department and plate pass. Plate pass offered me a 50% reduction of the āconvenience feeā which brings the total down to $300 for what should be about $120 in tolls. This is an unfair trade practice and employees at Hertz should be required to collect initials on the sections of the contract detailing additional fees. Never using hertz again.

The Manager , Birth Risk, at the Hertz Addison location on Midway Rd in Addison was outstanding. He adjusted pricing as needed on our rented car and made our experience less stressful much easier than trying to work with the main online customer service people..
