The young man at the desk was nice and easy to deal with unfortunately he could not help me with ice. None on the premises and the ice maker machines do not work in your freezer. Both kitchen and bath sinks only have cold water. There was trash in here from the last person that stayed in the room. There is a manager that told me the pools close already. It’s 90° outside. The grills are located within the pool area. Maybe you should advertise this before people book the hotel specifically to have a place they can use a grill at. They let me use the grill, but it was after I made a big deal about it and kept coming out to make sure I wasn’t swimming. Come on get it together. I’m a diamond member. This is supposed to be one of the more decent Hilton being a Homewood suites..

Rooms: Need upgrading really badly. It's not like it used to be. I am very disappointed, unfortunately I will not be staying there again. The area is great lots of food places, target, Walmart, clothes shops etc in the area

Because the lighting is poor, the carpet, cabinets, and furniture are all dark, the room feels dirty. The bathroom is a closet, I had to stand in the shower to close the door. The sliding shower door would not stay on track and wanted to swing in. I had to reset the gfci when I plugged in the coffee maker and then it tripped again so I used a different plug.

I should have read these reviews first. Clearly, the phone/internet problem that was communicated to me as "wait 15 minutes/temporary", is an ongoing issue. I do not feel safe here. It DOES feel like a low income housing project property. Security door that is supposed to always be locked isn't. The place is beyond old and worn down. It is gross and dirty. I asked to be moved to another hotel property and of course they say they can't. This property is making me question my Hilton loyalty. I am a Diamond member that stays about 75 nights a year. Maybe 2025 will be a Marriott year after this experience. Yuck, yuck, yuck.
Rooms: Old, dirty, no working phone or internet
Safety: Not feeling safe at all.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Homewood Suites Addison, TX, and I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. The manager, Raphael Garcia, openly stated that he doesn’t care about resolving any of the issues with the property because he claims to be the owner and can run it into the ground if he wants. This is unacceptable behavior, especially since he is representing Hilton’s name while running the hotel like a low-budget motel. His blatant disrespect and lack of concern for guest satisfaction are shocking.
The property itself is a disaster—it’s a clear safety and health hazard. The conditions are far below what you would expect from a Hilton-branded hotel. What’s even more insulting is Garcia’s attitude. Instead of addressing concerns, he is dismissive and rude. No one should stay at this property. Since taking over, there hasn’t been a single good review, and it’s clear that management does not care about providing a decent experience for guests.
I will do everything I can to report this to Hilton and push for this property to either improve or shut down. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and tarnishes Hilton’s reputation. If you’re considering staying here, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

This is my second long stay (6 nights) at Homewood Suites - Addison. The suites/rooms are well-spaced, icy cold air con on hot days, tvs in both lounge and bedroom (watched plenty of football!), hot and high pressure showers. Daily free breakfast to usual basic but filling Hilton standard. Sure the rooms are a little outdated but they’re clean and the price is way below comparable hotels in the area. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible staff, great breakfast super cool social events amazing management. I’d like to highlight Rafael and Herbert, both of them took amazing care of me and made sure every request was taken care of hastily.

BEWARE…BEWARE…..(This is a long one) Do not stop here to stay. I don’t care what the price is. This place does not live up to the Hilton name. This is the worst hotel I have stayed in, in my life. Stayed for 4-5 days and upon arrival (I’m a diamond member, app said room was ready) I get to my room and it’s got patches in the wall where somebody I guess attempted to paint but didn’t blend the colors so you can obviously tell their maintenance/contractor is inexperienced. The faucets to the shower is completely rusted and has mildew all on it and the room smelled. I went to the front desk to request a new room and the manager (I assume) didn’t get up to greet me, just sat at the desk and addressed the issue. (No one at the front desk). I was assigned a new room and it wasn’t any better. So I assumed all these rooms were about the same…….Here’s where it gets weird and worse. I accept the room because I’m ready to unwind. There are bugs flying and crawling around the room so I’m fighting to kill them. The sink in the bathroom had this horrible smell in the drain. I really don’t want to use the water to brush my teeth. OH….and the sheets and mattress had stains on them. So I go to pick up the phone to call for room service to have issues addressed (1 of 2) in the “suite” and it doesn’t work. I try the other one…doesn’t work. THEY AREN’T EVEN PLUGGED INTO ANYTHING. THEY ARE DECORATION!!! I had to laugh because I knew this had to be a joke. So I had to go back to the front desk where nobody was, and wait until somebody FINALLY came to let them know about it and the excuse to the phones was “that they are just there, they are renovating and somebody forgot to take them out”. So what if I had an emergency?? All units are supposed to have a working phone regardless of renovations. And the sheets, I asked for new ones but she wouldn’t give them to me. She didn’t want to come help with the issue or send anyone to help so my instructions were to return to the room, take the sheets off the bed myself and bring them back up front and then she would give me new ones. EXCUSE ME!!!! I have to do your job?? I was livid by it. She said she was the only person there..and I understand that but she wasn’t doing anything but sitting behind the desk. The desk has been unattended before, what’s one more time(my thoughts).
To make matters worse, I had housekeeping come to clean the room the next day and do you know they had the nerve to put dirty sheets and pillowcases back on the bed??!! How I know, I gently marked the sheets with a pen to see if they would be changed. I pulled the sheets off the bed, pilled them on the floor. They took the stuff off the floor and put it back on my bed. That NASTY, DINGY, DIRTY, SMELLY floor. If it wasn’t for the fact that this was a company paid for room I would have left immediately. Oh and when it came to showering, I had to take my shower in spurts because the water would back up into the tub (draining problem) and I didn’t want to keep standing in my own filth to get clean.
Last but not least I simply went to the front desk to request a DO NOT DISTURB sign to put on the door because I refused to have “housekeeping” come back until I left, and I was told by the manager I assume (old fat guy who never gets up to greet you and just looks at you through his glasses from his desk in the office) that they don’t have any. Supposedly the guest take them. If that’s not the lamest, weakest excuse. (My thoughts)That means you need to order more then huh?? I ended up just making my own sign with a piece of notebook paper and a marker. He’s not a good property manager. This place is in horrible shape from the grounds the place sits on to the employees that service this hotel.
This place shouldn’t be open. They need to close this place until they finish whatever renovations they claim they are doing and until they get new/more staff. I am looking into contacting corporate about his.

Front desk staff was very nice but beyond that, this hotels lacks in pretty much every other way possible. Rooms are run down, lights out or flickering, the thermostat in the room I stayed in was locked so I couldn’t control the temperature, the cable for the tv in living room area was ripped out of the wall so the tv in the bedroom was the only option. Maintenance was supposed to show up within an hour of arrival to fix issues and when I left the following day, they still hadn’t come. I’m honestly surprised this is a Hilton property still with the shape it’s in. One of the worst Hilton properties I’ve ever stayed in.

First, our air conditioning didn’t work, so I went to call the front desk….to a phone that didn’t even have a cord. There was mold in the bathroom and all over the lampshades. Once we ventured outside, the pool was not available so we couldn’t cool off from our non-AC room. When we walked to dinner, some hotel rooms had clearly been broken into and plywood was placed in the windows. We felt completely unsafe and I would have felt more safe sleeping in a car. Disgusting!

No hot water, no internet. Changed room, hot water came back, no internet, the service was nice, but you don't come to the hotel for the service. The hotel is good for one night if someone arrives late at night and leaves in the morning

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough to warrant one. This has easily been the worst hotel stay I've ever had, and I will be contacting Rafael Garcia's direct supervisor because this is beyond ridiculous.
I traveled in from Los Angeles, CA, and originally booked my room through the Hilton app, choosing a specific room in advance. I called the hotel earlier in the day to let them know I might arrive a little early due to my flight. When I spoke to Rafael, I was met with an unnecessarily aggressive attitude. He rudely stated, "Your room is still being cleaned, and check-in isn’t until 3 PM anyway." I let it slide, figuring one bad employee wouldn’t ruin my trip.
When I arrived, the front desk concierge was very polite and helpful—I’ll give him 5 stars for his professionalism. However, despite selecting my room in advance via the app, I was informed that the room I chose was "still dirty" and unavailable. While I was open to the idea of switching rooms, it was frustrating that the room I picked wasn’t ready, despite having booked it well in advance. Since I was traveling from LA, I decided to go ahead with the room they assigned me.
Now, fast forward to 9:30 PM, and things took a turn for the worse. There was *no hot water* in my room at all. I went down to the lobby to address this with Rafael, and he offered no real solutions. He told me they had been working on it and didn’t know when the issue would be resolved. When I asked about compensation or if there was anyone I could email about the situation, he flatly said no. The only "solution" he offered was to switch me to another room—but with the same issue, no hot water.
This level of service is completely unacceptable, especially for a Hilton property. I am extremely disappointed and will be escalating this issue to management.

The staff I interacted with was nice. The rooms were awful. The rooms were not clean. The furniture was not clean. The pictures looks WAY nicer than they were. It didn't feel safe at all. We came with our 8 month old for the convenience of having a kitchen and separate room and we will never stay at this property again. I am incredibly disappointed and can't believe we paid as much as we did for the quality (or lack there of) for this property.
