I go here for pedicures. My wife goes to Mai for her nails and pedicures. She Is very happy with her quality of work. She has been going to Mai for five years. Our daughter Karina also goes to Mai and gets the fancy nails. Great place!

I have been going to this nail salon for a couple years now and yesterday I received the most HORRIBLE service I’ve ever had up there. The lady that did my pedicure was rude and she kept giving me nasty looks as if she did not want to be bothered with me. She gave me a trash pedicure, and then she ended up doing my eyebrows because the other lady that does them normally was busy. When I tell you this woman was being extremely rough and and did not seem to care about my comfort at all whatsoever. I do not know who this lady is I never seen her in the before but she does not need to work there!!! Very rude, rough, and bad attitude. I’m sad to say but I won’t be returning back to this nail salon anymore. I’ve given them too many chances and everytime I go my service is never what I expect and I always tip as well. But they won’t be getting my business anymore I will go up the street where the Nail techs are more friendly.

Usually they're very good and fast, but today I walked in at opening hour and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I picked my dip color and was quickly seated and was given a bowl of acetone. I sat there for an hour while people who came in after me were serviced. I ended up walking out with no service because it was going to be an even longer wait.

I typically don't give reviews but I thought I should.. I'm widowed w twin teenagers and I work full time so when I make time for me (which rarely happens) I love a good pedicure! It's such a treat.. unfortunately this was the worst pedicure that I've ever had. She couldn't understand a lot of what I said and if she did understand she did the opposite of what I was asking. I asked if she could use scraper thingy cause I had (still do have) thick callouses and she said I didn't need it. I asked to not use a lot of pressure on shins as I have shin splints and she went back and forth several times in the top of leg instead of my calves.. she cut the "12" minute massage (my favorite part) that it says on menu down to 8 minutes cause she wanted to take a walk in before her next appointment got there.. got one coat of polish instead of 2.. Never coming back here again. Nope.

Such a good place, nice and friendly staff, was a little wait but the work was amazing totally worth the wait. Really really happy and satisfied with how my nails tirned out definitely my new nail spot !!!

I do not recommend coming to this place for a soak off. When I arrived the lady greeted me which was nice. I was told to sit in a chair and so I did. I noticed when she started drilling my nails to begin the soak off process her drill started to mess up. She then changed drills and when the other one didnt work she told me ohh these are thick it will take to long and grabbed a unused nail tip because she was gonna pop them off. I stated no, I would like a soak off and she told me yes I will do a soak off while proceeding to go for my nail with the unused nail tip to remove the acrylic on my nails. I got up and told the lady you will not be damaging my nails and walked out. A soak off without damaged is not something Nails star could accomplish.
