The manager that assisted was a lovely and helpful lady. Very knowledgeable and experienced, made my U-Haul experience a great interaction. Will be recommending this place to friends and family.

This store has everything you need for moving, packing supplies/tools, long term dry storage, tools, propane gas, and just about any size moving vehicle you can imagine.BUT, WHAT TOTALLY MAKES THIS STORE..is this black lady whom works with customers, and is friendly, listens to her customers, is smart, fast, and efficient. She has served me at least 5 times over the past 3 years, and every time she gets me in and out of the store quickly, with “just” what I need, and no more. I’m an older white guy, but it’s apparent that this Gal works hard, but CARES about ALL the customers walking into her store. She’s got a great attitude, and I wish her the best.

I booked a rental truck and 2 dollys from this location. I checked in the previous day and asked if the truck and the equipment is in place. The woman flat out lied to my face and said it is in place. We only had the truck and no dollys at 7 AM. Upon calling U haul they told us that the dollys were automatically dropped from the reservation since they did not have any dollys left. i wish the woman was honest about the situation the previous evening and we could have looked for alternate arrangements!

Had to rent a truck starting 5pm and finishing after hours, was told they didn’t have moving blankets at this location and would have to go to the other one up the road, but that I could leave the blankets in the truck when I return it and have no penalty. I get to the other location and they say I can’t leave the blankets in the truck because that’s too complex for their system to handle apparently. I explain that I need to leave the truck after hours and couldn’t bring the blankets back until the next morning, they say it’s fine and I won’t be charged extra. I drop the blankets off the next morning and still get double charged for them later. Basically had to drive to 2 different locations twice and still get double charged because of lazy management with no communication or oversight.

The truck that was rented to us had a malfunction in the ignition which made us lose an entire hour off of our reservation, they didn't offer to comp it or to expand our rental time which led to damages in some of my furniture due to the rush...

False advertisement and unhelpful staff.Made my reservation 2 weeks in advance. While completing reservation online, it offered one month free self storage. I setup the reservation for the one month free storage unit. After driving 12+ hours I arrive at the Carrollton branch to be told they would honor the reservation. I then called the Addison location and was told the same thing. Neither of the ladies I spoke with even attempted to help me resolve the issue despite the fact I printed out the reservation. Was on the phone for 20 min and still no representative or assistant. Customer service was poor its not their fault about what's online but neither of the ladies tried to help me.

I usually give an establishment a few chances before leaving a 1 star review,, but this place has repeatedly let me down. I was leaving town and needed to pick up a trailer after work (around 4pm) When i got there, the front desk receptionist hadnt let us know the pickup location had changed, so i made the drive in the opposite direction for nothing. She was so chatty with her coworkers about the weather, instead of pulling up my account to tell me the new pickup location and said the new location was about 35-40 minutes in the opposite direction.... this was already around 4:20pm...so I said "what if they're closed by the time I get there? I need to leave town tonight" she said to just call and tell them I'd be late... (that was all the effort she put in) Then went back to being chatty.. so I called... it was a call center, and nobody could help me. After 3 transfers, a woman named Karen answered and wouldn't let me finish a sentence. She also said that it basically wasn't her problem because she was a call center rep and couldn't do anything. I told her about the time dilemma, and if they could let us pick up the trailer when we arrived at 5:02pm (per GPS) She interrupted me and said if I "got there at 5:01pm they'd be closed, and to just get it in the morning.." (after I already told her I was leaving town tonight) She was rude, and interrupted me many times and i wish I could have reported her, but she actually ended up hanging up on me of course. The call was recorded on my end, so if there's a way to report her behavior, I absolutely will.

If it wasn't for Amy at this Uhaul location on Belt Line, I don't know how it would still be opened. I have been going to this location for a while now, but as of recent for the last 2 months, with the exception of Amy, the staff have looked and acted a mess. From employees wearing short shorts, inappropriately tight tops, and the remaining staff just not tending to customers or at the front desk at all. Every time I returned to this location, it had been Amy who has answered all my questions, helped me buy the proper items to move, and helped me rent and walked me to my storage unit. Amy is above and beyond amazing, patient , and very professional and too good for this location. Every time I visit it I always see Amy is working hard, alone, to keep that site afloat. I am giving a 5-star review for Amy alone. Thank you Amy for all you do, honestly!

Worst rental experience of my life. I picked up and dropped off at the same location. Got two whole days added to my reservation even though I returned it on time and I haven’t been able to get anyone to resolve the issue with me. It’s been two weeks since my return, so far they’ve charged me an extra $70 and they’re still trying to charge me more. Uhaul, if you see this have your people reach out to me because I’m trying to get this nightmare over with.

I haven't been able to get anyone to resolve the issue with me and it's been two weeks since the return. So far they've charged me an extra $70 and they're still trying to charge me more. They have good inventory for moving material like boxes and tape and so forth. The staff there are very friendly and accommodating.
