Went in for a ring size and to get an estimate for a wedding band. Isaiah was pleasant in the store, but they have no email system for communications and rely on phone calls. Me and my fiancee both left our numbers and asked that they leave a message as we both don't have access to our phones during the day. I call a week after we were supposed to hear back to learn that they tried to call a couple times, but got no answers so they canceled the request. Neither my fiancee or myself had a voice-mail. So they either called and never left a message per our instructions, or they never called. We ended up going to a different jeweler that uses a more modern and reliable form of communication. Will not recommend this jewler to anyone.

Wow.. the best I’ve ever experienced!!!! Some background on my previous repair experience in another repair shop: whenever I had any jewelry broken, that meant I had to drive to Plano for 15 minutes, hope they do it right, wait for a week or more sometimes, and then drive again to pick up. Sometimes to find it wasn’t done yet, though I had called to check in advance. Not anymore!!! I walked in on a Saturday morning to Allen jewelers, had two tiny gold pieces (earring and necklace) fixed in 5 minutes (!!!!), and to top my amazement, the manager did not charge me anything… I am speechless. Great start to a weekend. Found my repair spot finally, close to home!

This place is amazing. Khalid is a very respectful man who is always smiling. His story is truly inspiring. I will definitely be back.

I requested a 14K chain be shortened, two male employees assured me this was no problem. They called me back and said they could not repair chain and said I had brought the chain to them with the clasp and jump ring missing. This was an absolute lie, this chain still had tags on it from the store I purchased it from. Their story changed several times ( when you are lying it’s hard to keep the facts accurate). They suggested I return the chain to storefront where I purchased from and say it was broken at time of purchase.I was taken back by there very poor service and suggestion I lie to original merchant. They are a very low caliber jewelry store, they will blatantly lie to avoid responsibility for their mistakes. Do not purchase/request jewelry repair from this company. Buyer beware of deceitful business practices, you will have no recourse other than legal litigation. Don’t loose money or have valuable jewelry damaged by these shady people.

Isaiah couldn't have been more kind and helpful in sizing my new engagement ring.I showed him my old Aggie ring when I was there, and he re-etched lines on the back that had worn down for free!

Stopped in today for a gold bracket. Guy represented gold price at $1900 / GRAM! After I said that's / ounce he said oh yea. Then he weighed a 14 carat bracelet and represented the gold value at $140, which might have been correct if it was 24 carat gold, but 14 carat gold is only 58.3% pure. Please at least know what you are doing before shopping here!

Stopped in around the lunch hour for a new watch battery for my ESQ and they changed it while I waited; in less than two minutes in fact. They look to have a really interesting assortment of mens' bands; in many different styles and materials. I will definitely go back to these guys next time I'm in the market.

Sent my ring in twice for sizing. They soldered 2 of my rings together and soldered it on backwards. I need my ring fixed but I will not be taking it back there

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My fiancé bought my engagement ring here from the previous owner. I love my ring so much and am over the moon to have it. About 3 months ago, the diamond fell out my ring because the prongs broke off holding the diamond in place and we had to get a new one put in it. We go to take the ring in for a new diamond and find out the store had been bought by the current owners. They said they would have to charge us for the new diamond and to fix it and charged us 250 saying they were giving us a "discount" and gave us a timeline of when it be ready. We accepted the price because we just ultimately wanted the ring fixed. 4 days past the date the ring was promised to be ready, I call to get a status update just to see what the status was. The man on the phone indicated to me that "the jeweler had not been in yet and he get to it when he got there". He was very defensive and rude to me over the phone when I was not aggressive or rude toward him simply for asking when it would be ready. It was ready a couple days after that encounter and we were excited to be done with the store. About a 2 months later, my ring band snapped in half. We saw on our receipts that there was a 3 month warranty so reluctantly we took it back in. My fiancé said the guy did not look happy to see him. They had it done within two days, but you could tell no time or effort went into it as the seal was uneven, there were what appear to be wedding marks on, and you can still clearly see that the ring had broke. Now Less that a month later the ring is coming apart (picture below). We will not be going back and advise anyone else to do the same. They are rude just in general and I understand they are the new shop owners, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't respect any customer that is dealing with them. Instead of trying to fix the ring, they continued to try and sell us the exact same ring for triple the price (which I sure is why they didn't put my ring back together correctly the first time because they want more money. Now they have ruined my ring my fiancé worked so hard to pick out specifically for me. Do not go here save your money.

Allen Jewelers is an extremely unprofessional, argumentative, shady company. They have cost me hundreds of dollars and hours of my time due to their incompetency and negligence. This is why:I met a prospective buyer for my Rolex at their store as this is his personal jeweler. He wanted them to authenticate it. They opened it up to retrieve the serial numbers and after their watch specialist replaced the back and I headed home IT NO LONGER WORKED! It’s a perpetual movement. When I called them they blamed it on needing service. I drove back there the next day and when I expressed how unhappy I was with them, the owner told me to leave it and he would have it working in a couple of days. They also said I could have it serviced for around $400. That was a Friday. I told them I was leaving the state and needed it back and he again said no problem, only a couple of days. I called Wednesday and was told the watch specialist was off that day and he would call me the next day. He never did. I finally called in the afternoon only to find out they TOOK IT SOMEWHERE ELSE! I asked them to get it back immediately so I could pick it up. It still is not fixed! When I drove back to get my Rolex it was out of the sealed service envelope. When I asked where it was and why it wasn’t still sealed he told me he left it at the other place. Shady!!!! I will be taking it to my jeweler to be inspected and decide what to do from there. There’s a lot of reputable jewelers in this area. Unfortunately Allen Jewelers is not one of them.
