I am not sure if this was an isolated experience, but we had a rude register person. She was very condescending. Was standing there not asking if we were part of the line until we asked her if she can ring us up and she begrudgingly did. She was spaced out and while processing the returns (having to use TWO computers) was answering the phone and talking to other people ignoring the people in front of her. Barely said a word like we were inconveniencing her. We asked for no receipt and she disgustingly handed us one and shrugged. Barely said a word to us. Never going to this store or using anthro. She was there Friday at 13:50

The absolute worst Anthropologie in Dallas, TX! Their customer service is horrible, especially the manager who was checking me out. I ended up not buying anything and just walked out. I had recently received a gift from Anthropologie and wanted to exchange it, but I didn’t have the gift receipt. The item I was returning was still available in the store, so it was new. She refused to help me, not even offering an exchange. Very rude with a bad attitude, and she was apparently the manager. She didn’t even smile. This happened in the afternoon. It was super disappointing, and I will never recommend that store to anyone. The Frisco location is much better.

I had an incredible shopping experience at Anthropologie thanks to an amazing associate, Taylor, who truly went above and beyond. She took the time to individually wrap every gift I purchased with such care and made sure everything was to my exact liking. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and she truly made me feel valued as a customer. From the moment she greeted me to when she checked me out, Taylor emphasized making my experience personal, ensuring I felt special every step of the way. I even remember her wearing a striped sweater and black sunglasses around 5 PM on 02/16—her kindness and thoughtful service really stood out. It's clear that she cares deeply about creating a meaningful connection with customers, and it made all the difference. Thank you, Taylor, for making my shopping experience so wonderful!

Super unfriendly staff, snotty maybe?
Entering really set the tone for our visit.
Anthro has changed over the past decade, with less creative displays and homeware, more clothing and simplicity. If that’s your thing, maybe this is your place. This girl, however, misses old Anthro.

Horrible customer service today. The sales representatives were all just standing around and leaning on the counter around 7p Friday. The first sales associates did not know anything and could not help me (blonde hair young lady), then Terra and Essa, were not familiar with their own policy on return/exchanges bc they both told me something different and were not helpful with assisting me with my exchange. One sales associate (Essa), approached me to help dressed as if she was a stock worker with dirty nails to help me without any explanation as to what she was doing. The overall experience was below any company such as anthropologies standards that I have ever experienced. And when I mentioned I spoke to a district manager and there manager about a previous experience the two ladies rudely disregarded who I spoke to and told me to call customer service if I needed further assistance concerning my issue. Also, once I was finally checked out after being told the candles I was purchasing were 30% off and the signs advertised it, I got home and saw that Essa charged me full price $38 for each candle that I purchased.
