A terrifying shopping experience. Today, my husband and I brought our baby to buy clothes. As soon as we entered the store, we saw only two employees chatting animatedly and not paying any attention to us. Even though we passed by them and I tried to smile at them, no one responded. We picked out a few clothes and wanted to try them on, but couldn't find anyone to open the fitting room door for us. Fortunately, someone eventually did. When we were about to try them on, an employee came over and told us in a commanding tone that we had to take the clothes out after trying them on. When I followed his instructions and brought the clothes that didn't fit and the ones we wanted to buy to the front, he again ordered me to hang them back. Because my baby was beside me, I held back from arguing with him. But when I didn't do as he said, he threw the clothes I wanted to buy to the side, almost dropping them on the ground. I could clearly sense his anger. It was only after we finally finished paying that I walked towards the door. I heard him saying something behind me, so I asked him if he had any questions for me. He said no. I have never encountered such rude and unreasonable employees in any store.

I have been going to Brooks Brothers at the Allen Outlet Mall for many years. Lately it seems as if the customer service has diminished. I went in today (Jan 18), and all the 3 employees that were working seemed as if they did not want to be there. I was going to purchase a navy outdoor coat that didn’t have a price tag (it was the last one in that color and size). I got it off the same rack where similar style coats were hanging with a price tag, the only difference was the color. When I went to pay (with my Brooks Brothers MC card mind you), the perturbed employee seemed annoyed that he had to check me out. After he checks for the price through his system, it came out about $100 more than the price on the other similar style coats. I pointed out that the price on the other was different, he said, “well that’s what it is and maybe it’s because it’s a different style“. I indicated it was the same coat, but a different color that was on the same rack. He just said thats the price, but you did get 25% off. I brought the other coat to him and asked him how is this different other than the color? He just said it is, so I just left the store without purchasing it. Even my wife and daughter noticed how rude and curt he was. When I got home, I checked the BB website and found the exact coat for the price that I had originally thought I was going to pay at the store. However, they didn’t have my size. Needles to say, I will not be going to this BB store again. And it is unfortunate, because most of my wardrobe is comprised of BB clothing.

We had a poor experience here twice with the same salesman named Aldair being impatient and rude with us. We bought several items and decided to return two items on two separate occasions (within a week of time). He gave us a hard time on both occasions with processing our return. The receipt clearly states “contactless payment” which we initially paid with Apple Pay for reference. We pull up our Apple wallet on our phone, showing the digital card number that matches the numbers as shown on the receipt. Even with the clear confirmation there, he still makes it difficult for us to return our items. The first time, he gives an attitude and was hesitant processing it. The second time, he blatantly refuses to accept the return despite us going through the same process successfully a week ago. Side note, there is nothing wrong with the items we are returning. His reasoning this time was we don’t have the physical card? But again, it was Apple Pay with a digital card and the receipt clearly shows that. And just like our first return, we showed the confirmation of our card numbers matching the receipt. When we decide to speak up on our confusion and inconsistency from the week prior, he scolds back “well this is a separate transaction so give me a damn minute”. Absolutely unacceptable and very disappointed with the service. At the end he finally processed the return but has to state right before we leave, “Just so I’m clear, it will not be my responsibility if your money doesn’t return back properly”. How is that acceptable in the way it’s handled or the customer service?? If you shop here, just be warned of our situation and the several other recent negative reviews on poor customer service.

I got gift shirt from my friend, it was little big and decide to exchange same shirt with smaller size, never get a chance to visit to location, then after a year, I get a chance and visit the location. They still have same shirt, it is not discounted item, I have receipt, but the manager didn't accept the exchange because the receipt is over year. Question? Never used, all sticker on it, the same shirt still on sale, why you can't exchange. Bed customer service experience, stuff helping only sale, but never happy with exchange or return...

I visited this store yesterday and I would like to give negative 5 points if I can. The staff may named as Andres is sooo RUDE and he is a RACIST. He didn’t respond to me when I talked to him and went away worked with another American man. I tried to communicate several times but he walked away before I finished my words even I said hold on. He was not patient and even mad at me when I want to open a shirt to check the details. He doesn’t feel sorry when I called out he needs to be patient but he turned to be nice with the American people. The difference attitude make me sure this is RACIST and not because bad mood he had

Horrible experience, the guys that work there treat you like you are asking for free clothing, and they are the owners, is so unwelcoming the way they treat you.
First Time I want with my husband we had a person that helped us and he went beyond, he was so kind and helpful, new people are so annoying and unkind, rude people, BAD customer service.
NEVER going back.

Absolutely bad experience. I had bought 2 shirts, a pearl necklace and earings and a gift box for shirt on May 8th 2024. And next day i decided to return the gift box which was worth just $4. I went to return it on May 9th 2024 around 11.45 pm there were two ladies at the counter intially they both greeted and spoke well as i told them
I have to return this gift box they asked me the recepit and i gave it and later i used my CC it declined probably because that was bought on my husbands CC but we both havecsame card same number. So i asked them to just give cash as it its only $4. But the girl there was like no we cannot give cash we can give gift card only. I said what will i do with $4 gift card. Then this elderly lady i think she is manager she comes and rudely says to me you cannot argue with my employee here we have other customers in store. Am i not a customer? Just because i am a indian she was trying to be so rude and very rudely she started talking to me. She looked like a racist to me. Sorry to say but thats what i felt. Extremely bad service and very rude lady. Very dissapointed with the store. Brook brothers have to have better sales persons on counter.

Absolutely dreadful experience! The individual at the checkout counter displayed shocking rudeness. Despite the sticker price, the system indicated a higher amount, to which he callously removed the sticker claiming a price hike. Requesting to speak with the manager only led to further discourtesy, as he insisted on leaving if we weren't interested. Unacceptable customer service!

April was very helpful with my selection - couldn't be happier!I like this place a lot - nice clothes for normal people. You can't go wrong here.I'm not big on logos on clothes, like most stores in the outlet mall. I don't wanna be a walking advertisement, so instead, I'll avertise my exemplary experience here: most of their clothes had no logos, which is a huge win. And they fit well, too.Don't be weird. Just shop at Brooks Brothers.
