Raul and Emily at CHL lending are a one-two punch of rockstar talent. They made everything about my process incredibly easy, even if I did have a bit of a financial background to boot. They were leagues ahead of any other lender I ever dealt with in terms of both Rate & Term, and most of all convenience and ease to work with. I have referred my Realtor to CHL for the purposes of introducing more clientele to their pipeline, and have also introduced them to a few of my colleagues who will also soon be making the move down to the DFW area in the not-too-distant future. I could not publicly recommend CHL 6 or more stars, but if I could, I certainly would have in a heartbeat.

Raul was referred to us by our realtor and I am so thankful he was. Absolutely amazing service and knowledge. We wouldn't have been able to make this happen without him. I would recommend all family and friends to use Raul and their company. He is very responsive and takes the time to explain things to you, which as a young buyer was Absolutely amazing. I never felt rushed and he presented every option imaginable to meet our needs. I wish there were more people like him out there in the business. My wife and I just purchased our first home and the road from financing to closing was incredibly smooth and painless with Competitive Home Lending. I was originally going to finance my home with a large retail lender, but when I was told the cash to close numbers, I was shocked by how insanely expensive it sounded. My parents have used CHL multiple times in the past, so they referred me to Raul Hernandez with CHL, and I'm so glad they did. He talked me through what closing costs should be and, ultimately after some seller concessions, my total closing costs were less than half of what the retail lender quoted me. In addition to that, both he and Emily of CHL exemplify outstanding customer service. Both were available at nearly any time of the day and they always got back to me without delay. They were also both incredibly patient with me as I asked countless questions about the entire process. I'm very grateful to them for helping me get my family into our first house!

Raul and his team were amazing. This was my first time going through the home buying process and Raul really did take the time to explain the process from the lending aspect. Everyone was professional, knowledgable, and patient with me as I asked questions or for clarification whenever I felt unsure. They were quick to respond and were always kind. I appreciated the consistent communication and their affirmation that I was on track to close on time. With any obstacle I faced, they were happy to assist to ensure we could keep moving forward. I had the best experience both times I've used Competitive Home Lending with my VA and my conventional mortgages transactions. Raul and Emily made everything easy for me and they are very quick to response and they are always available when I have questions. They're very professional and very personable which made it even more pleasant experience. I normally use my bank for mortgage needs but Competitive Home Lending found me the best rate that I didn't think I could get. I couldn’t give Raul And Emily a higher recommendation. Raul took many hours explaining to me all the different options that were out there that worked best for my needs . He was kind, patient and so knowledgeable. Emily was diligent razor focused and able to process the loan quickly . I am so pleased that I got to know and work with both of them .
