Though Bethany location is further away/less convenient than the now closed Coit location...today at Bethany Trey was welcoming, efficient in helping me. He was proactive and noticed a beneficiary hadn't been set up when I previously set up my account. And he took care of that quickly. Thank you Trey! You made my "trip" up to Bethany location a very pleasant experience.

They offered a flex lease purchase.People please do the math. Do not purchase a car based on payment only. The flex lease allowed to make a payment for 60 months and then still left with almost $20k balance!! For a $42k car.

This bank makes the most simplest things complicated.1. Debit card setup. I called to set the debt card up. Didn’t work, automated system told me to inside a branch, did that. Then the branch employee tells me to call the same number that told me to come into the branch. Did that once again and it didn’t work, then he decided to actually help and called tech support.2. I go into a branch to pick up a cashiers check, for a set amount already done by the loan officer. The employee at the branch kept putting random numbers on the check and adding more than it should be. Took a few try’s to fix the issue.3. Then I was told by a branch employee he could enroll into paper less statements so I wouldn’t get the fee monthly. Well that’s not true. I was charged the fee, then called to get the issue resolved. After waiting 20 minutes on hold I was told by an annoyed employee that the branch can’t enroll you into paperless statements and it was on the member to do that. Then I ask well then why was I told different? I also ask can you revert the fee and he said no.There is always I mean always an issue with this bank. I mean I have to other bank accounts for the pasty 15 years and never have I had an issue. I get this account with the local credit union, and have had problems since day one.

If I could put ZERO stars, I would... I have been with this credit union for 14 yrs and always had wonderful service until now. I can NOT reach anyone via phone or online. This is ridiculous. I do not want to speak with your AI Bethany who continues to put me in a loop. Also, your online support, must be fake...Crystal, Danielle, and Yesenia do not respond to any requests. There is absolutely no way to get in touch with a human. I will be going in to the bank to get something taken care of that could have been done on the phone.

Their auto answer machine will never get you anywhere and you’ll end up having to drive to the bank.

Stay away from CUTX.Cathy Syyap got us into a loan that was not good for us. We did a equity loan to do some construction on our home. I am not the mortgage expert. I simply told her we wanted to take out some equity. She put us in a HELOC. Our payments went from old mortgage of $2,500 to $3,300, fine. However she did not tell us the $3,300 was interest only and there was not escrow in the Heloc. At closing she was not there to answer questions we had. Just a notary who knew nothing about it.Also online our payment is $3,300 but you can only pay $2,000 at a time.Very disappointed in their operations.Never again.

Grant Edmondson was very patient and helpful. Although I did not go with him, I really wish I did. The only reason I did not was to go with the family friend and it was a huge mistake. I will reach out to Grant when it is time to refinance

As a former customer, I have been inundated with marketing emails (including raffles). The required "opt out" either does not work or is ignored and my attempts to talk to a human have been virtually impossible due to their automated attendant. Very dissatisfied and frustrated.

Have been a customer for almost 20 years. Was always impressed with their great service, but hate to say that it has really declined. The new automated teller is the worst I have dealt with. Nearly impossible to get to a human. Financed several autos with them throughout the years with great service as well. Used to be able to call the auto loan number, get a knowledgeable loan processor on the line, get a rate and approval in what seemed like less than 15 minutes. I know on one auto I was able to complete the process on the phone as I was driving to the dealership because it was so easy. Just bought a new truck, and this time I was bounced around giving the same information to different people I talked to until I eventually was put through to my loan officer, who I told the same information to. When I tried to get simple answers like what my rate and payments would be, it seemed like he was doing the math in his head and in either case, the rate and payments were way higher than the dealer, which was a first for me with CUTX. Right now I am dealing with the fact that they keep charging my account for bill pay, even though I never signed up for or used the service. Again trying to deal with this over the phone has been a nightmare with the automated system. After talking to reps on 3 separate occasions, they informed me that they would have a supervisor contact me and I have never heard back. I am guessing its roughly a couple of hundred dollars that has been taken from my account over the last couple of years. I know that one rep told me they would only refund a few months. Not sure how that works when they took money from me I never authorized. Pretty sad, they used to really stand out customer service wise.

The CUTX location on Bethany Rd in Allen is a very disappointing location. It has only one shining star. That is the teller called Nalini Ragha. She is smart, competent, pleasant and helpful. She is the only reason I frequent this CUTX location. I hope the company knows what a game changer she is.

Got approved for an auto loan last week with stipulations, as most auto loans go. I met all of those stipulations. After being told a rate, how much a monthly payment would be, working a deal and sending it to the bank, then sitting at the dealer for 5 hours up to the point of the dealer waiting for draft Information; I get a call from the auto loan officer, Jasmine, of Loan Team 11, advising me that they are backing out of the deal because of items on my credit I told the loan officer about while applying for the auto loan and was told I was approved anyways. I guess that wasn't the case.Great way to lose a current customer, cease all the referrals I send to cutx, and get me to refinance my current auto loan with another bank.Would not do business again.

I paid off a truck back in may of this year and slowly got my life turned upside down with it breaking down a few years early. I wasnt thrilled to have to be financing a new vehicle. However working with Nicole Neubert has been an absolute treat. Very knowledgable and kind to our situation. Im aware my Credit isnt as hot as it used to be especially when I have to max out a card to pay to get my old truck home. I was sitting very low and getting outrageous APR on used auto loans. Nicole was able to secure me a very low rate and explain so many benefits that CUTX offers. My very first great experience for my very first credit union. Ill be taking possession of the vehicle tommorow for a apr lower then when I had a 720 credit score. Ask me how she did it I do not know. But she was beating out my Chase bank rate by about 4% (ive been with them for 5 years and have they have seen me go from 30k a year to sub 100k) So I thought chase would treat me better then what they offered. Very impressed and had no questions go unanswered and I assure you I asked atleast 30 questions in out email chain. Thank you Nicole you have no idea how unhappy I was to have to even do this and you made a bad situation exciting.

Horrible company. They will let you open a checking account, take you first deposit, give you a welcome packet, member ID and a debit card. Tried to use my debit card the next day and my transaction declined. Discovered they closed my account without notice. Customer service horrible and gives you the run around when you asked why the account closed. If this credit union did not want to do business with me, you could have told them that when we went through the application process and save me the embarrassment.
