The depths to which human incompetence can sink truly has no limits. This is the kind of place that has you wait in line for an entire hour, switch queues three whole times, only to tell you that they aren't contracted to take your insurance (which is absolutely insane to me anyway). Not only that, though, and stick around because it gets fun, but the pharmacy staff literally do not answer the phone. They do not have a call line for patients that need to check the status of their prescription or transfer it - they go straight to a voicemail graveyard and they will literally never check it. Speaking of transferring, they legitimately do not let you do it. I had to have the people at the kroger pharmacy harass them for 45 minutes just to get a verbal transfer of one of my medications (that was all they had time for) because they straight up would not fax a transfer over. For the other medications, though, and this is the best part, they straight up LIED about transferring them!! And because they had it marked as transferred in their system, they wouldn't redo it when I asked them the next day! The pharmacy I had them transfer the prescriptions to straight up never received anything! For three days! Now I'm out of medications and will be going into withdrawals tomorrow, all because the execrable and pernicious swine masquerading as pharmacists in this joke of a drug store simply couldn't be bothered.
I recently moved to the area and this was the closest pharmacy to my new home. My first and last mistake with CVS. I will never again darken their doors. If you are reading this review and wondering if it's still worth it to go through this place, read the other reviews and heed them. I certainly should have. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that it is a literal risk to your health to get prescriptions here. Go elsewhere - for your own sake.

Very friendly cashier. The gentleman that helped me was very nice & he was super patient while I was looking for my coupon. Enjoyable experience

The worst CVS experience with no compassion. I personally used to go to different CVS locations based on where I live but this one is near the hospital my mom was being tested at. Once my mom was released from hospital we raced to get to CVS before they close at their absurd business hour of 7pm. We get there at 6.55 pm and I told the girl how crucial it was my mom get the antibiotics before she lands back in the hospital. She asked me to wait so sat for 2 minutes before she said they can’t fill the prescriptions called in from the doctor earlier that day it’s too late. I pleaded with them and asked for a manager who is the absolute worst. She didn’t like that O asked to “make sure if they transfer to another cvs that the transfer indeed happen”. She didn’t like my tone, I’m sorry my lmom got released from the hospital so I just wanted to make sure I didn’t drive around for someone to say they forgot since it was so crucial. She then told me essentially if I didn’t say that she could have helped but it’s too late. What in the world, she is holding needed medication because I asked to verify the transfer goes through before I leave and they close down. I have been to other cvs locations where they take all the customers there by the time they close, never have I seen them turn people away for medicine when stil open even it they have to stay an extra 5-10 minutes. I can’t believe this place still runs. 0 stars

I would rather visit a medieval apothecary than entrust my prescriptions to this absolute bastion of ineptitude. Both the pharmacy and the store itself here are positively dreadful, but the former is particularly horrid - incompetent staff, awful customer service, and abysmal turnaround time.
You're better off buying a junior chemistry set from Amazon and making your own medicine. This place needs to shut down.

Terrible customer service, and even worse management, not to mention poor stocking. Will not be returning here anytime soon if I can help it.

I hate this place but I have to use it for my fills per my plan. The employees act like they hate their customers as well as their jobs. The customers suffer as a result. Literally suffer. Because we end up without vital medicines due to their poor work and lack of care. Additionally they refuse to take action when they are out of stock which lately is every month. We end up going days without medication not realizing they do not have it, because they simply refuse to notify customers so we can take alternative action. They also tell untruths which is unprofessional and unethical. This location should be under corporate review for incompetence and poor management.

Worst experience ever! Placed an online order and when I came to pick it up. The guy said someone had already picked it up and didn’t want to give me my stuff. They should ask for order numbers or id for pick up orders.

After 5 years of horrible service in the pharmacy, today was the final straw. I missed a very important medication refill due to their ridiculous hours and not being able to get there on time after I was done with work…after I TRIED to get it refilled a few days prior but the pharmacist said “there was NO WAY” they would be able to get it filled. So unhelpful!!! I transferred my prescription to the CVS on Preston rd which is open until a more reasonable hour so I won’t go through withdrawal.Past incidents also include:-At least six times I have shown up BEFORE THEY WERE CLOSED and that stupid metal shutter was already pulled down. Even with people still inside, who could see me, and me trying to get their attention and being ignored, before they were closed, and still no one would help me-They change their hours without notifying you. Had no clue they closed at 5pm some days and don’t open till 11am some days until I get the pleasure of showing up and it being closed. The point of a pharmacy is so people can get access to medications THEY NEED and they make it as difficult as possible.-The techs are generally unfriendly. No one ever says thank you. The older lady that always wears a mask speaks so softly you cannot hear her even when you ask her to repeat what she’s saying. I just have to keep guessing at what she’s saying and talk until I say the right thing. I dread having to interact with this lady.-Another time a young boy in the drive through kept telling me I had nothing to pick up. I said the website says I do and then showed it to him. He said well then the website is wrong and told me to call a 1800 number and shoo me away. I got very upset and stood my ground and said I am not leaving until I get my prescription so let me talk to a manager or whatever you need to do. Turns out HE WAS SPELLING MY NAME WRONG!!! All of this headache and frustration for literally no reason.-Sometimes you get a text when your meds are ready. Sometimes you do not. There is no rhyme or reason to it. It is a mystery.I hate leaving bad reviews but people need to know this is only going to bring you frustration and missing medication. The higher ups at CVS obviously don’t care because there’s been horrible reviews on here with the same issues for over a year and nothing has changed. I don’t have any hope so I have to switch pharmacies even though this one is walkable from my house.

The absolute worst customer service. The pharmacists was literally sitting in her chair as I was told she’s too busy to fill a prescription after I waited 2.5 hours for my 3 month old daughters medication. The pharmacist was rude and couldn’t care less

Terrible customer service.Never on time with RX. Always a problem with communication on there end , long wait , this location does not have there business together. I have found this to be the case with all CVS Pharmacy locations now a days so this tells me upper management are making bad company decisions.
