Horrific customer service. It does not deserve 1 star!!!
Every Experian published phone number I called (more than 5), all went to same auto-attendant phone tree. There is no way to speak to a real person.
On the phone auto-attendant, even when getting options, there is no option to unfreeze my credit report, other than go to website.
I went to website and tried over 5 times to create a new account but it never sent the confirmation text to my phone that it said it did. I even went to my local Chase Bank and had my account manager try it with me (2 times on phone, 2 times on website) and he observed the same unacceptable service.

WORST COMPANY EVER. Can't get ahold of a human being to help unfreeze my account. I would give them 0 if I could.

I don’t even know how this place god my credit card info but they tried charging my card out of nowhere in the middle of the night. It’s a good thing I had my card locked due to paranoia and based off the reviews this place sucks. I don’t even have history with them probably some sham company that bought our info after the data breach.

Experian "charged me"for a premium account for which I did not sign up for, and they refused me a refund. They are the very worst of the credit bureaus? !

ZERO STARS IF I COULD GIVE IT!!!! I was a "Premium" member for credit reports. READ THESE WORDS! Experian is a SCAM! They sell you a service that is WORTHLESS! The scores that they give are useless. They don't match up with what a mortgage lender or car loan place will pull. Why not let people know what your REAL score is to prevent wasting anyone's time? Don't pay for their "PREMIUM" service you would be better off paying off your debts than to use this worthless service.

I have tried numerous times to speak to a live customer service agent and the bot won't let me. My issue needs a live person to fix. Ridiculous that I can't reach a live agent.

There are multiple major credit reporting bureaus and you want to utilize the one that is credible, has integrity, and employs customer service professionals. Experience is not it! They report erroneous information, they do not comply with the requirements of the Consumer Financial Protection Board, which oversees Credit Reporting Agencies. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) authorizes individuals to see these companies in Federal Court and receive $1,000 per incident. You can hire an attorney or you can fill out a complaint and bring your proof to court. A class action is a good way to make them here you. Sound the alarm and tell the world. They are underhanded and malevolent. Do not do business with this company. Equifax or TransUnion is the way to go.

Miserable company. This is a technology trap to take your money. Do not open any account with them in any circumstance. There is no way to get a human on the IVR which is incapable of handling any issue with website login. Their loop for resetting a password is broken and confirms my login first, then when requesting a reset says it doesn't exist. My Experian profile has been compromised and there is no route to resolution. Good thing their office is down the street.

Experian sells your data to robocallers and scammers. But lo and behold! They will sell you a product called IdentityWorks for $24.99 /month! Maybe if the criminals that run Experian didn't sell our data in the first place, they wouldn't extort the public into buying their product. If there is a class action suit lawyer out there, THIS IS YOUR GOLDMINE.

I am a victim of a data breach with ATT and I got alerted someone is trying to us my info with an inquiry. This company told me a police report is still required then the guy who did not identify his self and sounded drier than the Sahara desert wanted me to give him my social after verify through the system. Are you crazy? First of all, if you are not here to help us even with proof from ATT of a breach why contact you. I’ve learned how to go to a better source. Horrible service! Worthless!

Scum bags don’t let you speak to anyone. They just spam you with 2 options, fraud or credit report and nothing else.
