I called. No one seems to care to provide excellent service. Turnaround for laptop battery replacement is 3-5 days and who can be without their computer that long when it’s the only way that person makes a living? Was transferred from one department to another and those departments are not in sync, demonstrating a total lack of organization and communication between them.

Disappointing Wait and Communication IssuesMy experience with Geek Squad for a recent kitchen range repair was extremely disappointing. It took close to a month to get a simple burner issue fixed, riddled with communication problems and scheduling delays. Here's what went wrong:Multiple Appointment Cancellations: My appointments were canceled a total of 3 times without any notification from Geek Squad. Each time, I had to call them myself to find out about the missed appointment.Parts Availability Confusion: I received the replacement part for the burner directly 3 days before my first scheduled repair appointment. This raised a red flag, as it seemed the part shortage excuse for the cancellations might not have been accurate.Unwieldy Scheduling Window: The initial appointment window spanned a massive 12 hours, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The night before, a text message narrowed it down to a 4-hour window, which is still quite large.Last-Minute Call Before Arrival: Even with the 4-hour window, Geek Squad called me to inform they would be arriving 2 hours earlier than the designated time slot. This lack of precise communication caused major inconvenience.Overall, the entire process was frustrating due to the long wait time, lack of communication about cancellations, and inconvenient scheduling practices. I would strongly advise Geek Squad to improve their internal communication and scheduling system to ensure a smoother and more efficient repair experience for their customers.Note: If you are considering using Geek Squad services, I recommend being very clear about your expectations regarding communication and scheduling.

Horrible service its been 2 months now and no one in the ENTIRE BESTBUY ORGANIZATION DID ANYTHING TO SOLVE THE ISSUE. I bought the TV from bestbuy Allen along with warranty, the geek came home and confirmed they will REPLACE OR REFUND but till today its been two months i am sending emails calling store doing everything to contact them but the store managers are also not responding. Shame on you. Such a hopeless staff and service. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND BESTBUY FOR ANYTHING. This store is lazy and unprofessional people.

I was very disappointed in Best Buy’s Geek Squad the day I went to see them. I have many DVDs and video tapes that I love to watch. After approximately a dozen years of using the nice VCR/DVD machine, the video section stopped working. After discussing what I should do about it, I chose to buy another one, knowing that it’d be used. It worked great for several months, then the DVD part stopped working. I looked online at who might help me repair the DVD player, and Best Buy was listed. I scheduled an appointment online for 11:40 AM the next day. At that time I walked through their front door carrying the VCR/DVD player. A nice employee greeted me and I told him my issue. He directed me to the Geek Squad. A young woman asked if she could help me. I told her my problem. She looked skeptical and said the player was outdated and they couldn’t repair it. I explained to her that I had used the internet to find a place to repair the DVD player. She walked behind the curtains to ask someone else. A guy came out with her and said they didn’t work on those anymore. They were obsolete. I told them that I was aware that people watch digital movies and shows now, but I did not like the new way and I needed my player repaired. I was told they couldn’t help me. I added that Best Buy came up in the internet as a place I should go to to fix my problem. I was NOT happy!

Every time I try to call Best Buy or Geek Squad, I get a phone tree recording that IS NOT helpful and sends me to national phone centers rather than local resources. Then I get put on hold and wait, only to have a new agent come on and have to start over explaining everything. This agent then wants to transfer me to a department that has nothing to do with the problem!

Brought in my son's brand new MS Surface laptop with Windows 10 S. Adriane Guzman, Geek Squad Technician, provided excellent customer service by first defining what the heck Windows 10 "S" is and why I cannot delete it from this new machine. She was able to delete it, so I could load my Canon print driver and print. Furthermore, not only was I stuck and not able to download print drivers, but MS forced you to their online store where they did not sell anything that could help. Thank you Adriane at Geek Squad.

Literally so unhelpful says they are certified to help fix or send in apple products but when I brought in my ipad they said they are only certified to send in iphones. Waste of time and they need to tell people ahead of time what they can actually bring in. Also unstaffed and had to stand there for half and hour for them to be able to do anything.

He helped me diagnose my issues and could resolve it within a small time frame. Very good at what he did. Josh was his name. I will see him again for sure.

I bought a laptop from them and then 3 weeks later it got damaged by accident. The in store experience was great except that they told me about $250-$350 to repair it So I said ok. They sent it to their service center for review of all repairs needed and called me with a quote. They said it would be $650 before taxes. The laptop only cost $850 When I purchased it 2 months ago.
