I hate bad reviews as a store owner but it is what it is and you need to write one.
I had a hit and run accident on May 30th 2024. Since my insurance told me to take the car to Caliber I followed suit, because I wanted a seamless experience between insurance and repair shop to have less headache. But things didn't go as I expected.
First of all they overstretched the repair time, and when they told me it was ready I couldn't get the car, they told me to come next week.
Second is their dishonest behaviour: When I finally got the car, Wes who was taking care of the repair never changed his position, I sensed he was trying to hide something. Curious, after getting the keys, I wanted to take a few pictures while the car still in park at their parking lot. When I took the picture I saw that there was a small dent on my bumper which scratched the paint and exposed the black material. I called him immediately to show the damage, he apologized and he told me that it was most probably because of their guys hit it while painting the damaged area.
I asked him what they can do? He told me that they can change the bumper since it was obviously their fault. I asked him again, was there any easier fix? He told me that the dent cannot be painted since it will not match the parts around and they need to change the bumper.
Wes told me to come back in 4 days. I called after 4 days, he told me the part has not arrived and to give them a week.
After 10 days I went there and he told me they still didn't get it. Then he went inside and brought some kind of paint and painted the area and told me until the repair this can cover it.
I waited another week, he called me this time to come for repair and the part was ready. I drove there and gave the key of the car, after 10 minutes he came with the vehicle nothing changed. He told me that they dropped the part and they need to paint it again. And they need to order another part. He told me they will call me whenever its ready.
So 2 weeks passed, nobody called. I called and they asked for another week. I went by after a week and he got the car again, returned this time telling me that the size was not correct. And they need to order it again. I told ok I can wait.
So days passed, and I needed to go vacation and I was out of town, I called them and told them to make it ready when I return from the vacation. I returned at the begining of the August, I called again. Wes asked for another week.
Then he called me after two weeks passed, I went there. Unbelievably the same thing happened, after a 15 minute wait he told me that his guys dropped the bumper and it needed to be painted. I said "Hey Wes isn't this the same excuse you provided me before my last visit?" You should have seen the smile in the face. We both knew his lies were filling the sky. He told me to give him some time.
So we came into September, and with no luck is visible, I asked them to refund me money so I can get it repaired somewhere else.
He told me he will call me back but as you expect never called after I reached him numerous times telling me that he was still working on a quote.
When I called him why it was taking so long to give a quote he told me that they didnt have power in the office that day and none of the computers were working.
So eventually, he offered me $250 for the damages.
I told him that it was unfair since the bumper is only by itself costs more than $250 and labor is not included to this. I asked to one of repair shops they told me they can do it for $1250 since some parts also need to be painted/blended.
When I texted about this, Wes told me that they cannot accept it, then he told me that he will ask it to his GM and have GM call me.

Caliber Collision of Allen did a great job of repairing my son’s car after he was hit by another vehicle. The repair was like new and they handled all the dealing with our insurance company making the process less stressful. Thank you.

This was my first experience with a repair shop due to an accident in my 40 year driving experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire process. The personnel were all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The process went smoothly and was finished a week sooner than expected. My vehicle was returned to me clean and looking like it did when I drove her off the lot at the dealership. Would return here if I need their services again (but hope I can go another 40 years without them)

Wes was great. Courteous and professional. We had bumper damage, alignment of rear axle and suspension work. He was easy to get a hold of always return my call in a timely manner kept me up-to-date on exactly what was going on. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. The repairs are good. The car runs great.

As someone who had never needed collision work done, I had many questions about the process and timeframe in which my car would be fixed. Caliber Allen far exceeded my expectations and answered all of the questions I had! Wes was prompt and kept me up to date on the status of my repair and I even got my car back sooner than expected. Wes and Caliber made a not so pleasant experience of needing repairs done to my car, completely painless.
