We are new to Texas & decided we would just go with this Co. for taxes. We scheduled our appontment, when we arrived we had all our paperwork organized & ready, we explained what we had I could instantly tell the lady had no clue how to do them. So I stated that I didn't want her to do them if she didn't know how, she insisted we meet with a senior person & that she could probly figure it out but a senior employee would be better if they are available... She checks with several people then an older gentlman comes in only to ask her if she had checked with so & so & so... I let them know that we will be going somewhere else! I absolutely don't want someone with no clue guessing how to do my taxes!

Scheduled an appointment to get our taxes done and upon arrival we met the tax person doing our taxes. She was very confused and overwhelmed by our tax need. We had a single income, and had bought and sold a house and they were over the top confused. The lack of confidence was over the top. Before the IRS decided to arrest us we decided to not have them complete our taxes and take our business elsewhere. Apparently no one buys and sells a house in the same year.

Just made our taxes by Cathy for 2023, she mas really helpful, thorough, clear, and friendly. Everything we asked she was knowledgeable about and provide a clear explanation. We'll definitely come back next year to do our taxes with her.

Would give a no stars if I could. I went through their online self preparation was able to find 4500 in tax refund, so I thought “hey let me get a tax preparer from the office to help me find some more tax breaks since I’m a self employed mother”. This lady who was very “seasoned”, worked on my taxes for 6 days straight, just to find me 1700 and then charged me 387 when I was only supposed to be charged 187. I’m starting to think all tax preparers are the same. Lazy with hidden fees. 80 to use a tax preparer 70 for all the extra protection and 39.99 to pay from my taxes DOES NOT equal 387. At least she did the righteous thing and not file them. Just don’t go to HRBlock it’s a reason they’re always empty.
