I’ve been a loyal customer of this Kroger for nearly 20 years, but I’ve recently been very disappointed with how poorly the customer service is managed. It's not uncommon to see situations where an associate spends 40 minutes handling a minor $1–$2 issue with one customer—sometimes even chatting and dancing—while a line of other customers waits impatiently. This level of inefficiency is frustrating and unacceptable.
Additionally, services that were once appreciated—like car registration payments—have declined significantly. What was once a convenient and community-minded offering has become unreliable. Associates often look for excuses not to provide the service, even when customers are well within the 1-month grace period and have no tickets. Meanwhile, the Tom Thumb just a block away handles it quickly and without issue.
Unless there are noticeable improvements in both management and service quality, I will likely begin shopping here less frequently. Kroger can and should do better.

I shop here frequently due to its proximity to my home, but be warned: They frequently sell expired goods. Be sure to check expiration dates before purchasing anything or opt for another store, as this is the only Kroger where I have had this experience. I give it 3 stars because the produce is always pretty solid, and the staff is super friendly.

I have shopped here since 2008. Ever since the new cameras have been installed at self check out, it's almost unbearable. I keep my purse on my person for safety and the camera thinks it's an item. I get out my wallet and camera thinks it's an item, I leave my coffee mug in my cart and it thinks it's an item!! Sounds like Kroger needs a better software company to help with monitoring and identifying products. I never have proven at Walmart, Maybe Kroger needs to look at Walmart's AI identifiers?? I never have this problem at HEB either.
I started stopping at the new Coit location just to say hi to Zia! We miss him at the Allen McDermott location.

This store steals your money and then when asked about it no one can correct. Although it shows they charged me $304 three times and the are argumentative. I asked for an email to send them the proof since they are telling me its not true. Do NOT use your card with them.

Helpful staff and clean, well-stocked aisles. However, expired promotional signage is sometimes left up, so double-check prices at checkout. The store will honor the promotion price via manager override at the register after the signage is verified.

My family and I used to go here almost every day but I was pestered by Spectrum three times while trying to shop today. I put the prime rib back, I am not going to reward Kroger for this terrible customer experience. Never again.

Went to pick up my Instacart order, and the team was so quick! I arrived, and in less than 5 minutes, they came out with my order. Great service!

On a crazy day when you have to work late and you have an extremely sick child at home DO NOT call the pharmacy a head of time and ask them to please stay open for 5 extra minutes. Their lives are wayyyyy too important for 5 inconvenient minutes (4 actually, I pleaded that my ETA was 8:04). Their Friday evening plans are more important than your sick child when your job- that barely feeds your family- keeps you on the clock until 7:50. Compassion and customer service doesn't exist in this pharmacy. I recommend any other location or pharmacy.

Our go-to store for amazing vegan finds! They have an impressive selection, including cookie dough, a variety of plant-based yogurts, and our favorite Simple Truth vegan cheese. It’s so convenient to find all these options in one place, and the quality is fantastic.
