A really bad shopping experience. A male salesperson was extremely rude and the manager was of no help at all. Please be aware that it's easy to be discriminated against when shopping here.

I never share a review, especially a disappointing one. This is my first. The rules across outlets are so varied and the store manager disrespectful at the Allen Premium Outlet store, TX. I stood in queue for a long while my spouse joined after I entered. The store manager came and said we can’t allow him and to take his credit card and complete my shopping. I had no idea how did she take the liberty to decide on who makes the payment or even imply that I can’t pay for myself. This stereotypical attitude and rudeness definitely needs action and reporting. While I don’t feel any less of myself after this incident, this kind of attitude is truly disturbing for any independent woman and should be reported to the right authorities, which I intend on doing.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my experience at the Michael Kors store today was incredibly disappointing and honestly frustrating. I walked in expecting the usual level of professionalism you’d expect from a brand like this, but the customer service was shockingly bad from the start.
The staff barely acknowledged me, and when I finally approached the counter with a question, I was met with attitude—as if I was inconveniencing them. The manager, who should be setting the tone for the store, was the worst of all. Instead of helping resolve a simple issue, she spoke to me in a rude, dismissive way and made it very clear she didn’t care about my concerns. The way she handled the situation was unprofessional and completely unnecessary.
For a brand that positions itself as premium, the behavior I experienced was anything but. It left a really bad impression and honestly made me reconsider shopping here again. Customer service should be the last thing a store like this gets wrong, yet somehow it was the biggest problem.
I hope they take feedback seriously, because treating customers this way is unacceptable. I definitely expected better from Michael Kors.

This is the second time I've had an unpleasant experience at MK. I feel that some of your sales are extremely unprofessional. What a big disappoints me is that when I tried to calmly explain to the manager what happened, she even allowed the sales to interrupt me and wouldn't let me finish. In the end, the sales tried to argue with me, and I felt a huge threat and left quickly. I just want everyone to know that if you have any problems in the store, don't try to tell the manager. She will only let the sales who caused the problem argue loudly with you and won't even listen to you. Finally, I want everyone to know that when queuing at the door, if there are many of you, just leave one person to queue, and the others can come back and directly cut in line to enter the store. The people queuing behind don't have to be dissatisfied because this is the queuing rule of MK.

Beautiful clothes and accessories. Lovely displays. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful, but there are always queues at the checkout because there's not enough people serving.
In summary, they like you in this store if you're there to spend a lot of money. If you're not, they're not so friendly.

Very disappointing experience
Had a very disappointing experience while trying to exchange a bag. I didn’t have my receipt, so I asked the cashier to look it up using my phone number — she kept saying she couldn’t find my account and made me repeat it several times, even though she was typing it correctly. After multiple attempts, she finally found it and blamed a “system glitch.”
She also said the bags I wanted were already held for other customers, but another associate on the floor was kind enough to check in the back and found one. When I went back to the cashier, she suddenly claimed it was a final sale and can’t be exchanged, which wasn’t mentioned before. She even swapped the bag I had checked with another one behind the counter.
Overall, the whole experience felt dishonest and very disappointing. Definitely not the kind of service I expected.

The customer is worse at this store! I literally just walked out and couldn’t wait to do this review. I was gifted two Michael Kors watches and both we a little big. I went into the store both still had tags on them from Michael Kors and asked if I could have someone to resize them. Literally 5 minutes to do. The young lady said that’s something my manager would have to do. The manager looks at her and say she will have to come back for that as if I was a no body. The level of customer service is beyond me but someone had just bought a dress and put it on in the store and the helped her take tags off and everything. So let me get this right because I am a different skin color I didn’t matter! I have watches and purses MK and walked in with one around my neck. So sad! And with the nasty attitude! I was already mad because I had to find a park and now dealing with this! Ugh I am very dissatisfied and disappointed!!!!!!!!!!! 😔

I went to return 2 bags but the cashier said I couldn't return one because it was on clearance despite another lady telling me I had 30 days to return when I initially purchased it. There was no extra clearance deal on that bag but the lady lied to make me keep it. I was able to return it at another store with no questions asked. Horrible customer service at the Allen location. Never ok to lie to customers so the store can make some $$

I was profiled from the moment I walked through the door. I have been a loyal customer for years and am very disturbed by the stalking that was done towards me while browsing the store. I was not customer serviced and followed up with as other customers were. I just received stare downs. Sad to say I will never shop MK again. Please train workers better with elevated professionalism.
